Building a portfolio of measurable brand results and earning certifications in digital marketing or market research can strengthen a candidacy significantly.

Columbus leads because it is home to major retail and insurance headquarters, while Cincinnati's concentration of consumer packaged goods companies, including Procter and Gamble, drives consistent demand, and Cleveland's healthcare and financial services sector adds a steady share of brand-focused roles.

Campaign planning, content strategy, and brand analytics are the sub-areas most commonly performed fully remote.
