Most Ohio employers expect a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, followed by several years in content creation, SEO, or digital marketing roles. Building a portfolio that demonstrates measurable results, and earning widely recognized credentials like Google Analytics or HubSpot Content Marketing certification, strengthens candidacy with Ohio hiring teams.
