This role requires a strong leader who can motivate employees, identify opportunities for improvement, coach team members on effective sales techniques, and hold locations accountable for their performance while maintaining the customer-first culture of Splash Car Wash & Detail.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and improve sales performance across all Splash Car Wash & Detail locations.

Work directly with location managers and employees to improve sales techniques and customer interactions.
Provide hands-on sales coaching, training, and ongoing development for team members.

Hold locations accountable for meeting established sales expectations while providing the coaching and resources necessary to improve.
Regularly visit and work with teams at each location to observe sales interactions and provide real-time coaching.
Collaborate with management and marketing to support promotions, membership initiatives, seasonal campaigns, and company-wide sales goals.
Ensure sales practices remain honest, customer-focused, and consistent with Splash’s standards. The goal is to help customers find the right service or membership—not to pressure customers into unnecessary purchases.
Provide leadership with regular updates on sales performance, challenges, opportunities, and progress toward company goals.
Performance Expectations
Success in this position will be measured by:
Consistently meeting or exceeding company sales quotas.
Growth in Unlimited Wash Membership sales and other key revenue categories.
Improvement in sales performance across individual locations.
Increased employee confidence and effectiveness when selling.
Strong participation in sales initiatives and contests.
Development of a motivated, positive, and competitive sales culture.

Be able to balance competition with teamwork and create an environment where employees want to succeed.
Be comfortable analyzing sales results and turning those numbers into actionable strategies.
Have a strong customer-service mindset and understand the importance of building long-term customer relationships.
Leadership Style

Regional Sales Director Jobs in Ohio: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a regional sales director in Ohio?
Most regional sales directors in Ohio follow a path from individual contributor sales roles through sales management before reaching a regional director level. Ohio does not require a state-issued license for general sales leadership, so employers focus on a bachelor's degree in business or a related field combined with progressive sales and management experience. Candidates in medtech or financial services may benefit from relevant industry certifications recognized by Ohio employers in those sectors.
How much do regional sales directors make in Ohio?
Regional sales directors in Ohio earn a median of about $135,510 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $74,190 for the lowest 10% to over $251,110 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire regional sales directors in Ohio?
Employers hiring regional sales directors in Ohio right now include BayMark Health Services, Aventura Health, and Team Velocity Marketing, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Ohio's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters and major distribution hubs means regional director openings surface across a broad range of industries, from industrial manufacturing to healthcare services.
Which Ohio cities have the most regional sales director jobs?
Columbus, Cincinnati, and Dayton lead Ohio in regional sales director openings. Columbus drives volume through its concentration of insurance, financial services, and retail corporate headquarters, while Cleveland and Cincinnati draw demand from manufacturing, logistics, and healthcare systems that rely on experienced regional leaders to manage field sales teams across the Midwest.
Are there remote regional sales director jobs in Ohio?
Yes, and they are more common than in most management roles, since regional sales directors often oversee distributed teams and manage relationships across a wide geography rather than working from a single office. About 38% of regional sales director openings tied to Ohio are remote or hybrid as of September 2026. Strategy, forecasting, and coaching responsibilities tend to be the most location-flexible parts of the role.
How can I get hired as a regional sales director in Ohio with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through a senior account executive or sales manager role at a large Ohio-based employer, then building toward a director promotion internally. Companies like Cardinal Health, Sherwin-Williams, and Nationwide run structured sales leadership development programs that move high performers from individual contributor to people manager. Earning a Certified Sales Leadership Professional credential or completing a sales management course through an Ohio university extension program strengthens a candidacy for first-time director roles.
Where can I find and apply to regional sales director jobs in Ohio?
You can find and apply to regional sales director jobs in Ohio on Migrate Mate, which lists current Ohio openings across industries and hiring companies. Find the roles that fit your experience and territory preference, then apply directly to each one.
