Most global marketing managers in Massachusetts reach the role through a bachelor's degree in marketing, international business, communications, or a related field, followed by progressive experience in brand, digital, or product marketing. Massachusetts employers, particularly in life sciences and technology, value candidates who have worked on multi-region campaigns or held regional marketing roles. There is no state-issued license for this role, but an MBA from one of Massachusetts's strong business programs often accelerates promotion into global scope.
How much do global marketing managers make in Massachusetts?
Global marketing managers in Massachusetts earn a median of about $212,020 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $122,350 for the lowest 10% to over $310,510 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire global marketing managers in Massachusetts?
Employers hiring global marketing managers in Massachusetts right now include Sanofi, Vizgen, and Samsonite, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Massachusetts's concentration of biotech, enterprise software, and asset management firms means global marketing roles here frequently involve regulated industries and technically complex products.
Which Massachusetts cities have the most global marketing manager jobs?
Cambridge, Boston, and Waltham have the most global marketing manager openings in Massachusetts. Boston anchors the market as headquarters for major financial services and healthcare firms, while Cambridge draws from its dense biotech and university-adjacent technology corridor, and Waltham has grown into a hub for enterprise software and medical device companies with international operations.

Yes, and more than most fields. About 100% of global marketing manager openings tied to Massachusetts are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how much of this role centers on strategy, content development, and digital coordination rather than on-site work. Campaign planning, content localization, and cross-regional analytics are the tasks most often performed fully remotely.

The most realistic entry path is a marketing coordinator or associate product marketing role at a mid-size Massachusetts technology or life sciences company, where you can build exposure to international teams and multi-region campaigns. Employers like Biogen and HubSpot run structured rotational or associate programs that feed into global marketing tracks.
