Business Operations Manager Jobs in Atlanta: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a business operations manager job in Atlanta?
Target Atlanta's strongest hiring sectors: logistics and supply chain firms clustered near Hartsfield-Jackson, technology companies in Midtown and the Perimeter, and large healthcare systems anchored across the metro. Candidates who combine process improvement credentials with experience in multi-site or high-volume environments stand out locally. Networking through Atlanta's active business and operations professional communities also opens doors that applications alone rarely do.
Which companies hire business operations managers in Atlanta?
Employers hiring business operations managers in Atlanta right now include Google, The Home Depot, and Amazon, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Atlanta's mix of Fortune 500 headquarters, regional distribution hubs, and fast-growing technology firms means openings appear across a wide range of employer sizes and industries throughout the metro.
Are there remote business operations manager jobs in Atlanta?
Yes, though availability depends heavily on the role. Business operations managers handling strategy, vendor coordination, and reporting tend to qualify for remote or hybrid arrangements, while those overseeing facilities, warehouse, or on-site teams are usually required in person. About 29% of business operations manager openings tied to Atlanta are remote or hybrid as of June 2026. Technology and financial services employers in Midtown and Buckhead post the highest share of flexible arrangements.
How can I get a business operations manager job in Atlanta with little or no experience?
The most realistic path is moving into operations from a coordinator or analyst role at one of Atlanta's large corporate employers, healthcare systems, or logistics companies, which frequently promote internally. Roles like operations coordinator, project coordinator, or business analyst at firms in the Perimeter or airport corridor give you direct exposure to the process work these managers own. A record of measurable efficiency improvements, even from a support role, carries significant weight with Atlanta hiring managers.
Which industries hire the most business operations managers in Atlanta?
Most business operations manager openings in Atlanta sit in Technology & Software, Retail, and Consulting & Professional Services, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Atlanta's role as a logistics and distribution gateway, combined with its growing technology sector and concentration of large healthcare networks, makes these industries the steadiest source of operations management demand in the metro.
