At Visual Edge IT, we believe great business decisions start with great insight. As a growing technology organization, we’re looking for an analytical, curious, and business-minded FP&A Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team and help turn financial and operational data into decisions that move the business forward.
This is not a traditional reporting role. As an FP&A Analyst, you’ll go beyond the numbers to understand why performance looks the way it does, connect operational activity to financial outcomes, challenge assumptions, and identify opportunities to improve business performance. You’ll work closely with Finance, Accounting, Operations, Sales, IT, and other business leaders to develop meaningful analysis, improve visibility, and support strategic company initiatives.
If you enjoy solving complex business problems, working with large datasets, building financial models, and translating analysis into clear recommendations, this role gives you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across the organization.
- Perform financial and operational analysis to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and the key drivers behind business performance.
- Develop financial models, business cases, scenario analyses, and other analytical tools to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Analyze large and complex datasets from multiple systems and translate information into actionable business insights.
- Build and maintain KPI dashboards, management reporting packages, and analytical tools that improve visibility into business performance.
- Partner with business leaders to understand operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Leverage Business Intelligence tools and reporting platforms to expand analytical capabilities and improve how leaders access and use information.
- Present financial findings, insights, and recommendations clearly to Finance, business leadership, and other stakeholders.
- Support executive, Board, and lender reporting requirements with accurate, meaningful, and timely analysis.
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting and analysis, streamline processes, and improve the efficiency and quality of financial information.
- Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
- Proactively identify business risks and opportunities and help translate findings into actions that improve performance.
- Build strong relationships across Finance, Accounting, Operations, Sales, IT, and other functions to serve as a trusted analytical partner to the business.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience in FP&A, business analytics, corporate finance, consulting, or a related analytical role.
- Strong financial analysis, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft tools.
- Experience working with large datasets and Business Intelligence tools.
- Ability to synthesize complex financial and operational information into clear, concise business recommendations.
- Strong analytical curiosity and a demonstrated desire to understand the business drivers behind financial results—not simply report the numbers.
- Highly self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build credibility with business leaders.
- Excellent written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience with OneStream, Power BI, or similar reporting and analytics platforms is preferred.
- MBA or other advanced certifications are a plus, but not required.

Business Systems Analyst Jobs in Orlando: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a business systems analyst job in Orlando?
The strongest path into a business systems analyst role in Orlando is targeting the city's dominant sectors: theme park and hospitality technology, healthcare systems at Lake Nona, and financial services firms concentrated in the Maitland Center and Lake Mary corridors. Candidates who combine SQL or ERP proficiency with experience in regulated or large-scale operations environments stand out locally. Familiarity with Agile delivery and stakeholder documentation tailored to enterprise environments gives applicants a clear edge.
Which companies hire business systems analysts in Orlando?
Employers hiring business systems analysts in Orlando right now include JIRACOR, OneBlood, and Versant, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Orlando's mix of Fortune 500 regional offices, large healthcare networks, and major hospitality and entertainment operators creates steady demand across industries with complex, high-volume business processes.
Are there remote business systems analyst jobs in Orlando?
Yes, business systems analyst work is well suited to remote and hybrid arrangements given its focus on documentation, data analysis, and cross-functional communication rather than on-site operations. About 25% of business systems analyst openings tied to Orlando are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting broader adoption across technology and financial services employers in the region. Requirements gathering and UAT coordination are the tasks most commonly performed remotely in Orlando-based roles.
How can I get a business systems analyst job in Orlando with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Orlando is moving laterally from a related operations, data, or project coordination role within one of the city's large employers in hospitality, healthcare, or financial services. Orlando's major hospital networks and theme park operations teams frequently hire junior analysts and operations coordinators who develop systems analysis skills on the job. Earning a certification in Agile or business analysis fundamentals and building familiarity with tools like JIRA or Salesforce strengthens an application significantly for entry-level openings here.
Which industries hire the most business systems analysts in Orlando?
Orlando business systems analyst roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Government & Public Sector, and Consulting & Professional Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Orlando's economy is anchored by large-scale operations in entertainment, healthcare, and financial processing, all of which depend on complex information systems that require dedicated analysts to manage requirements, workflows, and continuous improvement.
