Entry Level Cardiology Nurse Practitioner Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level cardiology nurse practitioner job?
Start by targeting hospitals, cardiology group practices, and health systems that explicitly welcome new graduates or candidates with limited experience. Highlight any cardiac-focused clinical rotations, preceptorships, or internship hours on your resume. Obtaining your ACNP or FNP certification and any advanced cardiac life support credentials strengthens your application considerably. Tailoring your cover letter to each employer's patient population and care setting gives you a clear edge at this stage.
Which companies hire entry level cardiology nurse practitioners?
Companies hiring entry level cardiology nurse practitioners right now include CommonSpirit Health, Voyage Health, and Sanford Health, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. At this level, hiring tends to come from large health systems, multi-specialty cardiology practices, and outpatient cardiac clinics that have structured onboarding programs designed to support new and junior providers.
Are there remote entry level cardiology nurse practitioner jobs?
Yes, though most cardiology NP roles are hands-on and clinic or hospital-based. About 1% of entry level cardiology nurse practitioner openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, and these positions typically involve telehealth cardiac consultations, remote patient monitoring, or care coordination roles that do not require direct procedural work.
Are these new grad cardiology nurse practitioner jobs?
Yes, the listings here include new grad, recent graduate, and junior cardiology nurse practitioner roles. A posting is considered new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, accepts clinical rotation hours or internship work in lieu of full-time employment, or explicitly states that a motivated candidate with a strong cardiac background will be considered alongside more experienced applicants.
Which industries hire the most entry level cardiology nurse practitioners?
Entry Level cardiology nurse practitioner roles concentrate in Healthcare & Medical Services, Education, and Non-Profit & Social Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026.
