About Us - Freeman Bentonville Hospital - Pharmacy
Schedule: Part time
May be occasionally subject to irregular hours.
Working under the direct supervision of the pharmacist, the pharmacy tech assists in all pharmacy operation functions related to: preparation & distribution of all doses of medication; maintenance of drug inventories (stocking auto dispensing cabinets in the facility, drug packaging, extemporaneous compounding, code cart re-stock); and completions of patients records pertaining to drug therapy (aminoglycoside protocol orders, drug charges & credits.
Requirements
- Completion of certified pharmacy tech program
- National Technician Certification required.
Preferred Experience:
- High School diploma or GED
- 3 years hospital pharmacy technician experience
