How do I get a clinical assistant professor job in Houston?
Focus your search on the Texas Medical Center, Houston's academic health science institutions, and the cluster of professional and allied health programs near the University District. Candidates with active clinical practice alongside teaching experience stand out, as do those with research or grant involvement. Tailoring your application to show familiarity with Houston's patient population diversity and its strong emphasis on interdisciplinary clinical education gives you a concrete edge over generalist applicants.
Which companies hire clinical assistant professors in Houston?

How can I get a clinical assistant professor job in Houston with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Houston is through adjunct or visiting instructor roles at the health science schools and community colleges clustered near the Texas Medical Center and the University of Houston system. Preceptor positions at affiliated teaching clinics and simulation lab coordinator roles regularly serve as stepping stones.
