How do I get a clinical registered nurse job in Raleigh?
Focus your search on the acute care hospitals, outpatient surgery centers, and specialty clinics clustered in Raleigh's Medical District and along the Blue Ridge Road corridor. WakeMed's system dominates local hiring, but regional health networks and private oncology and cardiology practices are consistently active too. Candidates with critical care, perioperative, or telemetry experience move fastest here, and ACLS or specialty certifications give a clear edge in a competitive pool.
Which companies hire clinical registered nurses in Raleigh?

Remote opportunities for clinical registered nurses are limited by nature, since the role is primarily hands-on and patient-facing. About 3% of clinical registered nurse openings tied to Raleigh are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, and those positions tend to be in care coordination, utilization review, or telehealth triage rather than direct bedside care.
How can I get a clinical registered nurse job in Raleigh with little or no experience?

Applying to medical-surgical or float pool roles at community hospitals in Wake County builds the foundational experience that specialty units require. Completing clinical rotations at Raleigh-area facilities and pursuing ACLS certification before graduation strengthens applications considerably in this market.
