Clinical Research Coordinator
Duties:
- Collect and manage research data, including data entry and quality control
- Assist with patient recruitment and screening processes
- Coordinate study visits and follow-up appointments for participants
- Conduct interviews and assessments to gather relevant medical information
- Monitor and document vital signs of study participants
- Analyze research data using appropriate statistical methods
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards in research protocols
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of study procedures and participant information
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure smooth execution of research studies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or associates degree in a related medical field preferred
- Previous experience as a nurse or clinical research coordinator preferred
- Knowledge of phlebotomy techniques and blood sampling procedures required
- Familiarity with vital sign measurement and interpretation
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance management in clinical research
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
