Entry Level Commercial Real Estate Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level commercial real estate job?
Employers hiring at this level prioritize candidates who show practical exposure to the field, whether through a real estate internship, coursework in finance or property management, or involvement in a campus real estate club. A real estate license, even if not required, gives new candidates a concrete edge. Demonstrating familiarity with commercial leases, market analysis basics, or CRM tools rounds out a strong application at the entry level.
Which companies hire entry level commercial real estates?
Companies hiring entry level commercial real estates right now include Dechert LLP, Jobot, and Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a broad range of organizations, including commercial brokerages, property management firms, real estate investment trusts, and corporate real estate departments at larger companies.
Are there remote entry level commercial real estate jobs?
Yes, though most entry level roles in this field are on-site given the property-focused nature of the work. About 22% of entry level commercial real estate openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, and those tend to concentrate in research, marketing, data analysis, and transaction coordination functions rather than client-facing or site-inspection roles.
Are these new grad commercial real estate jobs?
Yes, these listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior commercial real estate roles. A posting is typically new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, counts internships toward its requirements, or accepts a relevant portfolio or coursework in place of full-time history. Look for language like "entry level," "new graduates encouraged," or "training provided" as reliable signals.
Which industries hire the most entry level commercial real estates?
Entry Level commercial real estate roles concentrate in Law & Legal Services, Consulting & Professional Services, and Staffing & Recruiting, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Those sectors drive hiring at this level because they manage large physical footprints, require ongoing leasing and asset management activity, and regularly bring in junior talent to support deal flow, property operations, and market research.
