Frame your resume around supply chain outcomes
Ace Hardware's operations hiring centers on inventory flow, vendor coordination, and distribution efficiency. Quantify process improvements, shrink reduction, or fulfillment accuracy in your resume so hiring managers see operational impact, not just task lists.
Research which Ace Hardware facilities are hiring
Ace operates both corporate distribution centers and a dealer-owned cooperative model. Corporate-side facilities are the ones most likely to file visa sponsorship paperwork, so focus your search on corporate operations roles rather than independently owned store locations.
Confirm sponsorship intent before your final interview round
Ace Hardware's operations teams vary in sponsorship willingness by department and location. Ask the recruiter directly whether the specific team has sponsored candidates in your visa category before you invest in offer negotiation and document preparation.
Prepare your credential equivalency documentation early
For H-1B eligibility in operations roles, USCIS requires a specialty occupation nexus between your degree and the job duties. A credential evaluation from NACES-member organizations strengthens your petition if your degree is from outside the United States.
Understand the DOL prevailing wage requirement for operations titles
Before Ace Hardware files an H-1B or begins PERM, DOL sets a prevailing wage for the specific operations job title and location. Knowing the wage level for your target role helps you negotiate compensation that supports a clean filing.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open Ace Hardware operations roles
Operations job listings at Ace Hardware move quickly across distribution and corporate functions. Use Migrate Mate to browse verified sponsorship-eligible openings filtered to Ace Hardware so you're applying to roles where visa support is already confirmed.

Find Operations at Ace Hardware JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Ace Hardware sponsor H-1B visas for Operations roles?
Yes, Ace Hardware has sponsored H-1B visas for operations positions. Sponsorship is more common on the corporate and distribution center side of the business than at independently owned store locations. Your best path is targeting corporate operations roles explicitly and confirming sponsorship availability with the recruiter early in the process, since not every operations team files petitions.
How do I apply for Operations jobs at Ace Hardware?
Apply through Ace Hardware's careers portal for corporate and distribution center operations roles. Tailor your application to supply chain, logistics, or store operations functions depending on the team. Migrate Mate lists verified Ace Hardware operations openings where visa sponsorship is a known factor, which helps you prioritize roles before applying directly through Ace's official channels.
Which visa types does Ace Hardware commonly use for Operations positions?
Ace Hardware has filed across several visa categories for operations talent, including H-1B for specialty occupation roles, TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying operations functions, F-1 OPT and CPT for students in supply chain or business programs, and EB-2 or EB-3 pathways for candidates pursuing permanent residence through employer sponsorship.
What qualifications does Ace Hardware expect for sponsored Operations roles?
Corporate operations roles at Ace Hardware typically require a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business operations, logistics, or a related field. Hands-on experience with inventory systems, vendor management, or distribution center operations strengthens your candidacy significantly. For H-1B purposes, USCIS requires the role to qualify as a specialty occupation, so degree-to-job alignment is essential in your application.
How do I manage the timeline between an offer and visa filing for an Operations role?
If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your OPT expiration date before accepting an offer so Ace Hardware's HR team can align the H-1B filing timeline accordingly. H-1B cap filings open in March for an October 1 start date. If your OPT ends before October 1, a cap-gap extension through USCIS may bridge the gap, but that depends on the registration selection date and your program end date.
