INTRODUCTION
Frame.io is transforming how creative work happens by supporting over 1 million creative professionals to collaborate effortlessly from across the globe. As Frame.io continues to scale and integrate more deeply across Creative Cloud, strong execution and operational clarity are essential.
We are hiring a Director of Program Management and Operations to lead the execution of Frame.io’s most important initiatives and to own the operating foundation of the business. You will manage a team, partner closely with Product and Engineering leadership, and help ensure the organization is focused on the right priorities. Frame.io is a meaningful growth and integration priority for Adobe. This role has real ownership and impact, shaping not just what gets delivered, but how the organization operates and scales over time! You’ll work on problems that matter and help define the next chapter of a product used by creatives around the world.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and scale technical program management
You will own execution across Frame.io’s highest-priority, cross-functional initiatives. This includes complex technical programs that span product, engineering, design, platform integration, and go-to-market partners.
You’ll work with leaders to translate strategy into clear plans, align teams around outcomes, surface risks early, and drive decisions when tradeoffs are required. Your role is to bring clarity and momentum to work that would otherwise be slowed by ambiguity, competing priorities, or organizational complexity.
Build and lead a high performing team
You will manage and develop a team of senior and principal technical program managers. This includes setting expectations for impact and ownership, coaching individuals through complex challenges, and creating clear growth paths for people at different stages of their careers.
You will play a key role in hiring and onboarding new talent, with an emphasis on developing internal candidates and building a strong leadership bench. Creating a culture of accountability, trust, and continuous improvement is a core part of this role.
Business Operations
In addition to program execution, you will own the operating rhythm of the Frame.io business. This includes planning and tracking work across quarters, partnering with Finance on headcount and investment decisions, and ensuring leadership has clear insight into progress, risks, and dependencies.
You’ll help design and maintain operating mechanisms such as planning cycles, reviews, and execution tracking that are effective without being heavy.
Be a trusted partner to leadership
You will act as a trusted partner to Product, Engineering, Design, and Business leaders. This means helping leaders see around corners, connecting dots across teams, and raising issues early when alignment or execution is at risk.
You will also help prepare clear, concise materials for leadership forums and decision reviews, and ensure decisions are translated into action across the organization.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
We’re looking for a strong operator and people leader who brings judgment, empathy, and a bias for action.
You likely have:
- 10 plus years of experience leading technical programs, business operations, or both within a product organization
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field, or comparable practical experience
- Proven people management experience, ideally leading senior program managers or cross-functional teams
- Comfort working closely with engineering teams on complex systems and platforms
- Experience operating in a matrixed environment with multiple senior collaborators
- A track record of delivering meaningful outcomes through influence and collaboration
- You bring clarity to ambiguous situations, communicate directly and thoughtfully, and help teams focus on what matters most. You care about building strong teams and creating an environment where people can do their best work
- Experience in creative tools, collaboration platforms, or enterprise SaaS is helpful, but not required

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Program Director Jobs at Adobe Jobs
Frame your portfolio around Adobe's scale
Adobe's Program Directors typically oversee enterprise-level initiatives across Creative Cloud, Document Cloud, or Experience Cloud. Documenting programs you've led that mirror that complexity, cross-regional scope, and stakeholder density strengthens your specialty occupation case before any petition is filed.
Verify your degree field aligns precisely
USCIS scrutinizes whether your degree directly supports the Program Director role as described. A business administration or computer science degree paired with clear program management credentials carries more weight than a general degree with broad experience claims on your application.
Target Adobe's enterprise divisions when applying
Adobe's Experience Cloud and digital media business units run programs at a scale that consistently generates sponsorship demand. Filtering your search to roles within those divisions increases your odds of landing a position where international hiring is already embedded in the team's workflow.
Use Migrate Mate to identify active sponsoring roles
Adobe posts Program Director openings across multiple business units at different times of year. Use Migrate Mate to filter verified sponsorship-eligible roles at Adobe so you're applying to positions where your visa type is already supported, not hoping it will be considered.
Confirm your visa category before the offer stage
Adobe supports H-1B, E-3, TN, and other categories, but eligibility depends on your nationality and the specific role. Before negotiations begin, confirm with your recruiter which category your position qualifies under so there are no delays once Adobe's immigration team initiates the USCIS filing.
Anticipate LCA timing if switching from F-1 OPT
If you're transitioning from F-1 OPT, Adobe's legal team must file a certified Labor Condition Application with DOL before the I-129 petition reaches USCIS. Build at least four to six weeks of LCA processing time into your expected start date conversation with your hiring manager.

Find Program Director at Adobe JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Adobe sponsor H-1B visas for Program Directors?
Yes, Adobe sponsors H-1B visas for Program Director roles. Program management is generally recognized as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards, and Adobe has a dedicated immigration function that manages the full petition process. Because H-1B has an annual cap and lottery, timing your offer relative to the April filing window matters significantly for your start date planning.
How do I apply for Program Director jobs at Adobe?
Applications go through Adobe's careers portal at adobe.com/careers, where Program Director roles are posted under the Operations or Product Management categories depending on the business unit. You can also browse verified sponsorship-eligible Program Director openings at Adobe directly through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa type so you know upfront whether your category is supported.
Which visa types does Adobe commonly use for Program Directors?
Adobe sponsors H-1B, E-3 (for Australian citizens), TN (for Canadian and Mexican nationals), and Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for Program Directors. F-1 OPT and CPT are also supported for candidates earlier in their careers. The right category depends on your nationality, degree, and the specific role structure within Adobe's business units.
What qualifications does Adobe expect for a Program Director role?
Adobe typically looks for a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, business, engineering, or a related field, combined with substantial experience leading cross-functional programs at scale. For senior-level positions, experience within enterprise software, SaaS, or digital media workflows is a strong differentiator. Adobe's immigration team will also need your credentials to clearly map to the specialty occupation standard USCIS applies.
How do I think about visa processing timelines when targeting Adobe?
If you're on H-1B, Adobe's immigration team typically files in early April for an October 1 start date, so earlier hiring cycles align better with this window. E-3 and TN filings move faster and don't require lottery selection. For any category, expect two to four weeks for DOL Labor Condition Application certification before Adobe can submit the USCIS petition.
