Frame Your LCA-Ready Credentials Early
Veeva's Program Director roles require demonstrated leadership over complex, multi-workstream software implementations. Before applying, document your experience in ways that map to a specialty occupation, where your degree field directly relates to the program management discipline you'll be practicing.
Target Veeva's Commercial Cloud Delivery Teams
Veeva hires Program Directors primarily to support CRM, Vault, and data cloud deployments for pharma and biotech clients. Positioning your background around regulated industry software delivery or life sciences go-to-market programs puts you in front of the highest-volume hiring areas.
Clarify Sponsorship Eligibility Before Final Rounds
Veeva sponsors multiple visa categories including H-1B and TN. If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your OPT end date against Veeva's typical offer-to-start timeline, which can run several weeks, so there's no gap between your authorization period and your start date.
Understand Where TN Fits for This Role
Canadian and Mexican citizens qualifying under USMCA may be eligible for TN status in a management or systems analyst category. USCIS and CBP interpret TN eligibility case by case, so align your job offer letter language with the specific TN category before the offer is finalized.
Account for H-1B Cap Timing in Your Job Search
If you need a new H-1B, USCIS only accepts registrations in March for an October 1 start. Use Migrate Mate to identify and prioritize open Program Director roles at Veeva early enough to target the next available registration window without missing the cycle.
Verify Your I-140 Portability Before Changing Employers
If you're mid-green card process and considering Veeva, an approved I-140 with a priority date older than 180 days may be portable under AC21. Confirm the new Program Director role is in the same or similar occupational classification before accepting an offer.

Does Veeva Systems sponsor H-1B visas for Program Directors?
Yes, Veeva Systems sponsors H-1B visas for Program Director roles. The company has an established pattern of filing petitions across multiple visa categories for technical and program leadership positions. If you're subject to the H-1B cap, timing your application around the March USCIS registration window is essential, as approved registrations only grant an October 1 start date.
Which visa types does Veeva Systems commonly use for Program Directors?
Veeva sponsors H-1B and H-1B1 for specialty occupation workers, TN status for eligible Canadian and Mexican nationals, and supports F-1 OPT and CPT for recent graduates in qualifying roles. For longer-term employment-based immigration, Veeva also files EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card petitions through the PERM labor certification process administered by the DOL.
What qualifications does Veeva Systems expect for Program Director roles?
Veeva's Program Director roles typically require a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as computer science, information systems, or life sciences, combined with substantial experience leading enterprise software programs, often in pharma or biotech client environments. Familiarity with Veeva's product suite, including Vault or CRM platforms, strengthens a candidacy meaningfully.
How do I apply for Program Director jobs at Veeva Systems?
You can apply directly through Veeva's careers page. To find Program Director roles that are confirmed to offer visa sponsorship, browse open positions on Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for Veeva roles where international candidates are eligible. Review the job description carefully for language about specialty occupation requirements before submitting your application.
How do I plan my timeline if I need visa sponsorship for a Veeva Program Director role?
Start by identifying your current visa status and expiration date. F-1 OPT holders should map Veeva's hiring cycle against their remaining work authorization and apply early enough to allow for an H-1B cap registration in March if needed. TN and H-1B1 holders can change status more flexibly. Build in at least 60 days between offer acceptance and your intended start date to allow Veeva's HR and legal teams to prepare filings.
