Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding New Business Development Jobs at Veeva Systems Jobs
Frame your domain expertise around life sciences
Veeva sells exclusively into pharma, biotech, and MedTech verticals. Before applying, document any experience with clinical, regulatory, or commercial software deals. Interviewers will probe industry fluency, not just sales mechanics.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open roles by sponsorship type
Not every New Business Development posting at Veeva is tied to the same sponsorship track. Search Migrate Mate to filter active Veeva roles by the visa category relevant to your situation before submitting applications.
Time your application around OPT validity windows
If you're on F-1 OPT, Veeva must file your H-1B petition before your OPT expires to maintain status continuity. Build your application timeline backward from the April 1 USCIS filing window, allowing time for offer, LCA certification, and petition prep.
Prepare a transferable quota territory story
Veeva's New Business Development roles often require demonstrating you can build a book of business in an assigned vertical or geography. Come to interviews with a specific example of prospecting into an unfamiliar account segment and converting it.
Request written confirmation of sponsorship scope at offer stage
At the offer stage, confirm in writing whether Veeva's sponsorship covers both nonimmigrant status and future PERM-based Green Card sponsorship. Some employers sponsor one but not the other, and the distinction affects your long-term planning significantly.

Find New Business Development at Veeva Systems JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Veeva Systems sponsor H-1B visas for New Business Developments?
Yes, Veeva Systems sponsors H-1B visas for New Business Development roles. The company has an active sponsorship program and works with immigration counsel to file petitions for qualifying candidates. Because H-1B availability depends on the annual lottery, timing your offer and petition preparation ahead of the April 1 filing window is essential for a smooth process.
How do I apply for New Business Development jobs at Veeva Systems?
Applications go through Veeva's careers page, where roles are posted by region and product line. To find New Business Development openings that explicitly support visa sponsorship, browse Migrate Mate, which curates verified sponsoring employers and filters roles by visa type. Tailor your resume to highlight experience selling software into pharma or biotech accounts before submitting.
Which visa types does Veeva Systems commonly use for New Business Development roles?
Veeva sponsors H-1B, H-1B1 (available to Chilean and Singaporean nationals), TN (for Canadian and Mexican nationals), F-1 OPT, and F-1 CPT for New Business Development positions. For candidates pursuing permanent residence, the company has also supported EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship through the PERM labor certification process.
What qualifications does Veeva Systems expect for New Business Development roles?
Veeva typically looks for candidates with a background in SaaS or enterprise software sales, with preference for experience in life sciences, pharma, or clinical technology verticals. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is standard. Because the H-1B requires a specialty occupation with a direct degree-to-role nexus, a degree in business, life sciences, or a related discipline strengthens your petition significantly.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take when joining Veeva Systems?
Timeline depends on your visa category. For H-1B, your employer must first file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL, which typically takes seven business days, followed by USCIS petition processing. Standard processing runs three to five months. If you need faster authorization, Veeva can request USCIS premium processing, which adjudicates within 15 business days for an additional fee.
