Align your HR credentials to U.S. standards
If you hold an international HR certification, confirm it maps to a U.S. equivalent like SHRM-CP or PHR before applying. Veeva's HR team operates under U.S. labor law frameworks, so demonstrating familiarity with FMLA, EEO, and FLSA strengthens your specialty occupation case.
Target Veeva's HR business partner roles
Veeva structures much of its HR function around HRBPs aligned to specific business units. These roles typically require a degree-specific background in human resources or organizational development, which supports the specialty occupation requirement USCIS uses to evaluate H-1B petitions for HR positions.
Use Migrate Mate to find open sponsorship-eligible positions
HR roles at Veeva that qualify for visa sponsorship aren't always labeled clearly on general job boards. Migrate Mate filters specifically for sponsoring employers and visa-eligible openings, so you can identify which Veeva HR positions are actively accepting sponsored candidates.
Understand Veeva's internal HR hiring timeline
Veeva's HR headcount often ramps ahead of product launches and fiscal year planning cycles. If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your OPT expiration date against the H-1B cap-gap window so continuous work authorization isn't interrupted between your offer date and October 1 start.
Prepare for PERM documentation early if pursuing a Green Card
For EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship in an HR role, DOL requires Veeva to run a PERM recruitment test before filing. Ask your recruiter about Veeva's standard timeline for initiating PERM so you can plan around the 6-to-18-month DOL adjudication window before priority date movement matters.
Clarify TN eligibility if you hold Canadian or Mexican citizenship
TN classification is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in certain HR-adjacent roles that fall under the USMCA's covered occupations list. Confirm with Veeva's HR immigration team whether your specific job title and duties qualify before assuming TN is an available path.

Find Human Resources at Veeva Systems JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Veeva Systems sponsor H-1B visas for Human Resources?
Yes, Veeva Systems sponsors H-1B visas for Human Resources roles. HR positions at Veeva that require a relevant bachelor's degree or higher, such as HR business partner or compensation analyst roles, can meet USCIS's specialty occupation standard. Sponsorship availability varies by role, so confirm with the recruiter during the interview process.
How do I apply for Human Resources jobs at Veeva Systems?
Applications go through Veeva's careers site, where HR roles are listed by function and region. To find positions that explicitly support visa sponsorship, use Migrate Mate, which filters Veeva's open HR roles by sponsorship eligibility. Tailor your application to highlight U.S.-relevant HR experience and any compliance or HRBP background specific to software or life sciences employers.
Which visa types does Veeva Systems commonly use for Human Resources roles?
Veeva sponsors H-1B and H-1B1 visas for degree-holding HR professionals, F-1 OPT and CPT for students in HR or related programs, and TN visas for qualifying Canadian and Mexican nationals. For candidates pursuing permanent residence, Veeva has supported EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways through the PERM labor certification process administered by DOL.
What qualifications does Veeva Systems expect for Human Resources roles?
Most HR roles at Veeva require a bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, psychology, or a closely related field. Senior or business partner roles typically expect several years of experience supporting a technology or SaaS workforce. Familiarity with U.S. employment law, HRIS platforms, and cross-functional stakeholder management in a fast-paced software environment is commonly expected.
How do visa filing timelines affect Human Resources offers at Veeva Systems?
If your offer requires H-1B sponsorship, Veeva must file during the annual April cap season for an October 1 start date, meaning offers made after April may not translate to work authorization until the following fiscal year. F-1 OPT holders can start sooner if OPT is still valid. Confirm your current status expiration date with Veeva's immigration team before accepting an offer.
