INTRODUCTION
Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest.
ABOUT THE REVENUE TEAM
The Revenue team drives Affirm's top-line growth through strategic partnerships, pricing, and go-to-market execution. We acquire, retain, and expand merchant relationships across eCommerce, in-store, telesales, and the Affirm app. The team leads onboarding, relationship management, and performance optimization to help partners succeed. We deliver value-added solutions, drive adoption, and support long-term business growth by connecting merchants and consumers through Affirm's products.
ABOUT THE TEAM
We're looking for a curious, driven analyst to join our Revenue Operations team. Revenue Operations serves as the backbone of the Revenue organization at Affirm. We follow a data-driven approach that combines elements of strategy, systems, process, and analytics to align go-to-market motions across the organization.
As a Revenue Operations Analyst II, you will be a key partner to our Marketing, Business Development, and early Sales teams - focused on making the top of the funnel predictable, clean, and scalable. You'll design and optimize the processes, automation, and tooling that govern how leads, contacts, and accounts enter the revenue funnel, ensuring downstream teams can execute with confidence. The ideal candidate is equal parts tactical, building automation and workflows, and strategic thinking through lifecycle design, routing logic, and coverage models that scale with the business.
- Design and optimize top of funnel merchant lifecycle processes — from Marketing touch through Contact creation, Account readiness, and Discovery handoff — with an emphasis on automation, data quality, and clear documentation
- Own and define lead routing logic, automation triggers, and lifecycle dependencies that govern how leads and accounts move through the top of funnel; partner with Business Systems for implementation
- Own cross-functional initiatives end to end — managing stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, Legal, Product, Revenue Ops, Analytics, and others
- Support attribution tracking and funnel conversion analysis for Marketing, BDA, and early funnel performance to surface actionable insights
- Own workflow automations (e.g., Slack notifications, cross-tool workflows, process triggers) that improve speed-to-lead and reduce manual work
- Collaborate with the Business Systems team to improve Salesforce and adjacent GTM tooling for lead and account management efficiency; define processes to ensure data integrity at funnel entry
- Partner with Revenue Enablement to train and support revenue teams on top of funnel processes and tooling changes
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS or equivalent 4-year degree required
- 2+ years of revenue operations, sales operations, or marketing operations experience
- Proficiency in Salesforce (experience as an administrator is a plus); familiarity with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Pardot, HubSpot)
- Mastery of Excel / Google Sheets and a solid understanding of business intelligence tools
- Experience with lead lifecycle management, lead routing tools (e.g., RingLead, LeanData), data enrichment tools (e.g., Clay, Zoominfo), or lead scoring and attribution frameworks is preferred
- Proven ability to manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in a fast-paced environment, ensuring alignment and engagement throughout projects
- Prior experience in data analysis, reporting, and funnel performance measurement
- A strong sense of organization, a growth mentality, and a bias toward documenting and systematizing repeatable processes

Frame your credentials around fintech compliance
Affirm's Operations roles sit at the intersection of payments, lending, and regulatory oversight. Tailor your resume to highlight experience with financial controls, reconciliation workflows, or risk frameworks rather than generic operations experience.
Target roles that align with LCA filings
Affirm must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before sponsoring an H-1B. Roles tied to payment operations, fraud operations, or compliance functions have a stronger sponsorship precedent, so prioritize those job titles in your applications.
Use Migrate Mate to filter verified sponsorship roles
Not every Operations listing at Affirm will explicitly state sponsorship eligibility. Use Migrate Mate to identify which positions have active sponsorship history, so you spend your time on applications that actually move forward.
Start OPT paperwork before your offer letter arrives
If you're on F-1 OPT, your DSO needs time to issue a new I-20 and USCIS requires a 10-day reporting window after employment begins. Starting the authorization process before you have a signed offer prevents gaps that can delay your start date.
Prepare for a structured behavioral interview process
Affirm's Operations hiring typically involves multiple rounds assessing cross-functional collaboration and data-driven decision making. Come prepared with specific examples from financial services or high-growth tech environments where you improved operational efficiency or reduced risk exposure.
Understand how PERM timing affects your long-term plans
For EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship, Affirm must complete PERM labor certification through DOL before filing your immigrant petition. This process commonly takes 12 to 18 months, so ask during the offer stage whether the company sponsors green cards and at what seniority level.

Find Operations at Affirm JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Affirm sponsor H-1B visas for Operations roles?
Yes, Affirm sponsors H-1B visas for Operations positions. The company has a consistent track record of supporting work authorization across its operations function, which spans payments, risk, compliance, and financial controls. H-1B sponsorship typically requires the role to qualify as a specialty occupation, meaning a relevant bachelor's degree or higher in a related field is generally expected.
Which visa types are commonly used for Operations roles at Affirm?
Affirm supports several visa categories for Operations hires, including H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN, and immigrant pathways like EB-2 and EB-3. F-1 OPT is commonly used for recent graduates entering operations analyst or associate roles, while H-1B sponsorship is more typical for mid-level and senior positions requiring specialized financial services expertise.
How do I apply for Operations jobs at Affirm?
You can browse and apply for Operations roles at Affirm directly through their careers page or through Migrate Mate, which surfaces sponsorship-verified listings and filters by visa type. When applying, align your resume to Affirm's fintech context, particularly around payment operations, risk management, or regulatory compliance. Highlighting experience with data tools and cross-functional workflows is relevant for most Operations roles there.
What qualifications does Affirm look for in Operations candidates?
Affirm generally expects a bachelor's degree in a quantitative, business, or finance-related field for Operations roles. Beyond credentials, the company looks for experience with process improvement, financial reconciliation, or operational risk in a fast-moving environment. Familiarity with SQL, internal tooling, or payments infrastructure is a recurring signal across their Operations job descriptions.
How do I time my H-1B sponsorship application when joining Affirm?
The H-1B cap-subject filing window opens April 1 each year for an October 1 start date. If you receive an offer outside that window, Affirm may be able to bridge your status using OPT or a cap-exempt mechanism. Confirm the timeline with your recruiter early in the process, since USCIS registration typically opens in March and missing it means waiting a full year.
