INTRODUCTION
Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest.
ABOUT THE REVENUE TEAM
The Revenue team drives Affirm’s top-line growth through strategic partnerships, pricing, and go-to-market execution. We acquire, retain, and expand merchant relationships across eCommerce, in-store, telesales, and the Affirm app. The team leads onboarding, relationship management, and performance optimization to help partners succeed. We deliver value-added solutions, drive adoption, and support long-term business growth by connecting merchants and consumers through Affirm’s products.
ABOUT THE TEAM
We're looking for a curious, driven analyst to join our Revenue Operations team. Revenue Operations serves as the backbone of the Revenue organization at Affirm. We follow a data-driven approach that combines elements of strategy, systems, process, and analytics to align go-to-market motions across the organization. As a Revenue Operations Analyst II, you will be a key partner to our Marketing, Business Development, and early Sales teams - focused on making the top of the funnel predictable, clean, and scalable. You'll design and optimize the processes, automation, and tooling that govern how leads, contacts, and accounts enter the revenue funnel, ensuring downstream teams can execute with confidence. The ideal candidate is equal parts tactical, building automation and workflows, and strategic thinking through lifecycle design, routing logic, and coverage models that scale with the business.
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and optimize top of funnel merchant lifecycle processes — from Marketing touch through Contact creation, Account readiness, and Discovery handoff — with an emphasis on automation, data quality, and clear documentation
- Own and define lead routing logic, automation triggers, and lifecycle dependencies that govern how leads and accounts move through the top of funnel; partner with Business Systems for implementation
- Own cross-functional initiatives end to end — managing stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, Legal, Product, Revenue Ops, Analytics, and others
- Support attribution tracking and funnel conversion analysis for Marketing, BDA, and early funnel performance to surface actionable insights
- Own workflow automations (e.g., Slack notifications, cross-tool workflows, process triggers) that improve speed-to-lead and reduce manual work
- Collaborate with the Business Systems team to improve Salesforce and adjacent GTM tooling for lead and account management efficiency; define processes to ensure data integrity at funnel entry
- Partner with Revenue Enablement to train and support revenue teams on top of funnel processes and tooling changes
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS or equivalent 4-year degree required
- 2+ years of revenue operations, sales operations, or marketing operations experience
- Proficiency in Salesforce (experience as an administrator is a plus); familiarity with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Pardot, HubSpot)
- Mastery of Excel / Google Sheets and a solid understanding of business intelligence tools
- Experience with lead lifecycle management, lead routing tools (e.g., RingLead, LeanData), data enrichment tools (e.g., Clay, Zoominfo), or lead scoring and attribution frameworks is preferred
- Proven ability to manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in a fast-paced environment, ensuring alignment and engagement throughout projects
- Prior experience in data analysis, reporting, and funnel performance measurement
- A strong sense of organization, a growth mentality, and a bias toward documenting and systematizing repeatable processes

Tailor your resume to fintech operations
Affirm's Business Operations roles sit at the intersection of financial products and process scaling. Highlight experience with payment systems, credit products, or lending workflows alongside cross-functional project delivery to signal direct relevance to their operating model.
Identify roles that match your visa type
Not every Business Operations opening at Affirm carries the same sponsorship scope. Search for postings that explicitly list H-1B or OPT eligibility, and use Migrate Mate to filter Affirm's open roles by the visa types they actively sponsor for this function.
Understand how LCA timing affects your start date
Before Affirm can file your H-1B petition, your employer must obtain a certified Labor Condition Application from the DOL. Factor in a two-week certification window when negotiating your start date so there's no gap between offer acceptance and filing.
Build your case around specialty occupation evidence
USCIS scrutinizes Business Operations roles closely for H-1B specialty occupation eligibility. Document how your role requires a specific bachelor's-level field, such as finance, economics, or business analytics, not just any degree. Job descriptions that reference broad business skills can draw RFEs.
Target Affirm's fintech-specific operations teams
Affirm structures Business Operations around product lines like merchant partnerships, risk operations, and consumer lending. Applying to teams where your fintech or financial services background maps directly to the function increases your chances of passing initial recruiter screening.
Prepare your OPT timeline before the interview stage
If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your authorization end date and whether you qualify for the 24-month STEM extension before advancing to final rounds. Affirm's recruiting timeline can run six to ten weeks, so a short OPT window may require an early conversation with HR about cap-gap coverage.

Find Business Operations at Affirm JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Affirm sponsor H-1B visas for Business Operations?
Yes, Affirm sponsors H-1B visas for Business Operations roles. The company has a documented history of filing H-1B petitions for this function across teams covering strategy, analytics, and operational program management. The key requirement is that the role qualifies as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards, meaning it must require a specific bachelor's-level field of study rather than a generalist background.
How do I apply for Business Operations jobs at Affirm?
Applications go through Affirm's careers page, where Business Operations roles are listed by team and location. Filter by function to find relevant openings. To find roles specifically filtered for visa sponsorship eligibility, Migrate Mate aggregates Affirm's open Business Operations positions alongside sponsorship data so you can identify which postings align with your visa type before applying.
Which visa types does Affirm commonly sponsor for Business Operations roles?
Affirm sponsors H-1B visas as the primary work authorization pathway for Business Operations professionals. The company also supports F-1 OPT and CPT for students and recent graduates, TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying roles, and Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 and EB-3 PERM-based pathways for longer-tenured employees.
What qualifications does Affirm look for in Business Operations candidates?
Affirm typically looks for candidates with backgrounds in finance, economics, business analytics, or related quantitative fields for Business Operations roles. Practical experience with SQL, data analysis, or financial modeling is commonly expected alongside cross-functional project coordination skills. For H-1B eligibility purposes, your degree field should align specifically with the technical requirements of the role, not just general business experience.
How long does the H-1B sponsorship process take for a new Affirm hire?
The standard H-1B timeline runs from filing in April to an October 1 start date under the regular cap. The DOL LCA certification typically takes two weeks before USCIS filing. If you need to start before October, Affirm may use premium processing through USCIS, which provides a decision within 15 business days for an additional fee. For F-1 OPT holders, a cap-gap extension can cover the gap between OPT expiration and October 1.
