Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Manufacturing Jobs at Ashley Furniture Industries Jobs
Align your credentials with LCA job classifications
Ashley files Labor Condition Applications with the DOL that list specific job titles and wage levels. Match your resume's role titles and scope to those LCA classifications so your application clearly maps to roles they've already committed to sponsoring.
Target plant-level roles over corporate generalists
Ashley's Manufacturing sponsorships skew toward hands-on production, industrial engineering, and operations roles tied to its Wisconsin and Mississippi facilities. Applying to plant-based positions puts you closer to hiring managers who control sponsorship decisions directly.
Document foreign manufacturing credentials for U.S. equivalency
If your engineering or technical degree is from outside the U.S., get a credential evaluation before you apply. USCIS requires degree equivalency for H-1B specialty occupation filings, and having that documentation ready accelerates the petition process.
Clarify sponsorship intent early in recruiter conversations
Ashley's recruiting teams handle high application volumes. Ask directly in your first recruiter call whether the specific Manufacturing role you're pursuing is open to H-1B sponsorship, so you don't invest weeks in a pipeline that isn't authorized to sponsor.
Browse verified Manufacturing openings through Migrate Mate
Finding roles where sponsorship is confirmed upfront saves significant time. Use Migrate Mate to filter Manufacturing positions at Ashley Furniture Industries that are actively open to visa sponsorship, rather than cold-applying and hoping.
Plan around H-1B cap timing if you're on OPT
If you're on F-1 OPT, Ashley would need to file your H-1B petition in April for an October 1 start. Factor in your OPT expiration date and apply to Ashley's Manufacturing roles early enough to complete interviews and allow employer preparation time before the USCIS filing window opens.

Find Manufacturing at Ashley Furniture Industries JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Ashley Furniture Industries sponsor H-1B visas for Manufacturing roles?
Yes, Ashley Furniture Industries sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying Manufacturing positions. Roles in industrial engineering, production management, and operations are among the functions where sponsorship has been used. To qualify, the position must meet USCIS specialty occupation standards, meaning a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field must be a normal requirement for the role.
How do I apply for Manufacturing jobs at Ashley Furniture Industries?
You can apply through Ashley Furniture's careers portal or find verified sponsorship-eligible openings on Migrate Mate, which filters for roles where visa sponsorship is confirmed. When applying, tailor your resume to the specific production or engineering function listed. If you need sponsorship, flag that clearly in your cover materials so recruiters can route you to the right hiring team.
Which visa types does Ashley Furniture Industries use for Manufacturing positions?
Ashley Furniture sponsors both nonimmigrant and immigrant visas for Manufacturing roles. The H-1B is the primary work visa used for specialty occupation positions such as engineers and technical managers. For longer-term pathways, Ashley has pursued employment-based Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 and EB-3 classifications, which typically require PERM labor certification filed with the DOL.
What qualifications does Ashley Furniture Industries expect for sponsored Manufacturing roles?
For H-1B-eligible Manufacturing roles, USCIS requires the position to be a specialty occupation, so a relevant bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing technology, or a related field is typically expected. Practical experience in high-volume production environments, familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, and hands-on knowledge of industrial or materials processes strengthen your candidacy significantly beyond the degree requirement alone.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Manufacturing role at Ashley Furniture Industries?
For H-1B sponsorship, the employer must file a certified LCA with the DOL before submitting the USCIS petition. Standard USCIS processing takes several months, though premium processing can reduce adjudication to around 15 business days. For EB-3 Green Card sponsorship, the full PERM and immigrant visa process typically spans one to several years depending on your country of birth and priority date.
