Target roles that align with EB-2 or EB-3 pathways
Awty International School sponsors Green Cards through employment-based categories, not H-1B. Focus your application on teaching and professional roles where employer-sponsored permanent residence is a realistic outcome, rather than expecting temporary work visa support.
Understand that Green Card sponsorship requires a longer commitment
Awty's sponsorship history centers on permanent residence, which signals they invest in long-term hires. Emphasize your intent to build a sustained career in international education when writing your cover letter and during interviews.
Highlight credentials that meet EB-2 or EB-3 standards
EB-2 requires an advanced degree or exceptional ability, while EB-3 covers skilled professionals. Teachers with graduate degrees or specialized subject expertise are well positioned. Make your qualifications explicit in your application materials from the start.
Apply during Awty's active hiring windows for faculty positions
International schools like Awty typically recruit teachers between January and April for the following academic year. Submitting your application early in that window gives HR more time to assess sponsorship feasibility alongside your candidacy.
Research which departments have historically sponsored roles
At international schools, sponsored positions tend to cluster in subject-specific teaching roles and specialized support staff. Research Awty's faculty structure and tailor your application to departments most likely to sponsor international hires. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history.
Be direct about your visa needs early in the process
Awty has demonstrated willingness to pursue sponsored pathways for the right candidates. Raise your visa requirements professionally in early conversations rather than waiting, so the school can factor sponsorship into their hiring timeline from the outset.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Awty International School sponsor H-1B visas?
Based on available sponsorship records, Awty International School does not have a history of sponsoring H-1B visas. Their sponsorship activity has focused on employment-based Green Card categories instead. If you currently hold H-1B status and are looking to transition to a Green Card through an employer, Awty could still be a viable long-term option.
What visa types does Awty International School sponsor?
Awty International School's sponsorship history is in the Green Card space, specifically through employment-based preference categories such as EB-2 and EB-3. These pathways support skilled professionals and those with advanced degrees or exceptional ability, which aligns well with the academic and professional roles typically found at an international school of Awty's caliber.
Which roles at Awty International School are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
At international schools like Awty, sponsored roles most commonly include subject-matter teachers, particularly those with graduate-level qualifications in high-demand disciplines, as well as specialized administrative and professional staff. Faculty positions requiring advanced degrees are the strongest candidates for EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship, given the school's demonstrated preference for permanent residence pathways.
How do I find open sponsored positions at Awty International School?
The most reliable approach is to search for Awty International School directly on Migrate Mate, which surfaces verified sponsorship history so you can confirm which employers have actually filed for visas before you apply. From there, review the open roles listed on Awty's own careers page and cross-reference them with the visa categories they've historically supported.
How do I approach the application timeline if I need Green Card sponsorship from Awty International School?
Green Card sponsorship through an employer like Awty is a multi-step process that typically begins after you've been hired and have worked there for a period. The employer must file a PERM labor certification, then an immigrant petition, before you can apply for adjustment of status. Starting conversations about sponsorship intent early in the hiring process helps both parties plan realistically.
