Align Your Credentials to U.S. Banking Compliance Standards
CAMS, CRCM, or CFE certifications carry real weight in U.S. bank compliance hiring. If your credentials are from outside the U.S., get them evaluated and mapped to these equivalents before applying to Axos Bank.
Target Axos Bank's Regulatory Risk and BSA Teams
Axos Bank's compliance hiring tends to concentrate around Bank Secrecy Act, AML, and federal regulatory requirements tied to its online banking model. Frame your resume around transaction monitoring, exam readiness, or digital banking risk to match their actual open roles.
Find Open Compliance Roles Through Migrate Mate
Compliance positions at Axos Bank that include visa sponsorship aren't always easy to identify from a standard job board. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Axos Bank compliance roles that match your visa type.
Raise Sponsorship Directly During Initial Recruiter Screens
Axos Bank has sponsored H-1B and F-1 candidates for compliance roles before. Bring up your visa status early in the recruiter call so the hiring team can loop in HR on sponsorship feasibility before the process goes further.
Prepare Offer Letter Documentation for the LCA Filing
Once Axos Bank extends a compliant offer, your employer files a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before the H-1B petition can proceed. Make sure your offer letter specifies your job title, worksite location, and salary in the format DOL requires.

Find Compliance at Axos Bank JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Axos Bank sponsor H-1B visas for Compliance roles?
Yes, Axos Bank has sponsored H-1B visas for Compliance positions. The process requires the employer to file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL and then submit an H-1B petition to USCIS. For compliance roles specifically, your job duties and degree field need to meet USCIS's specialty occupation standard, which bank compliance roles generally satisfy given their regulatory complexity.
Which visa types does Axos Bank commonly sponsor for Compliance positions?
Axos Bank has sponsored candidates on H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN, and J-1 visas for compliance roles. H-1B is the most common long-term path. F-1 OPT and CPT are typically used for earlier-career or transitional compliance hires. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying compliance or regulatory roles under the USMCA agreement.
What qualifications does Axos Bank expect for Compliance roles?
Axos Bank's compliance team operates in areas like AML, BSA, regulatory risk, and financial crime prevention tied to its digital banking model. Relevant experience in transaction monitoring, regulatory examination support, or policy development is expected. Certifications such as CAMS or CRCM strengthen your profile. A bachelor's degree in finance, law, or a related field is generally the baseline requirement.
How do I apply for Compliance jobs at Axos Bank?
You can browse and apply for Compliance positions at Axos Bank that include visa sponsorship through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa type and employer. When applying, tailor your resume to the specific compliance function advertised, whether that's AML, regulatory affairs, or risk. Raise your visa status early in the recruiter screening so Axos Bank's HR team can assess sponsorship capacity before the process advances.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Compliance role at Axos Bank?
For H-1B sponsorship, the DOL must certify the Labor Condition Application before USCIS can process the petition, which adds time before your start date. Standard USCIS processing takes several months; premium processing reduces the adjudication window to roughly 15 business days. If you're on F-1 OPT, the cap-gap rule can bridge your authorization if your H-1B petition is filed before your OPT expires.
