About the Team
At DoorDash, our people are at the heart of everything we do. With operations spanning 40+ countries, ensuring smooth and compliant immigration is critical to our growth. The Global Immigration pillar within our Global Mobility & Immigration (GMI) team manages immigration strategy and operations worldwide, partnering with employees, vendors, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, compliant solutions that enable global workforce agility.
About the Role
We're hiring a Senior Immigration Program Manager to join the Global Immigration pillar. In this role, you'll focus on managing our high-volume US immigration program, working closely with employees, managers, and vendors to ensure timely and compliant processes. You'll also contribute to improving how we track, report, and scale immigration support across the business. You'll own and drive the execution of our US immigration program, with opportunities to expand into the wider Americas region over time.
You will report into the Global Immigration Manager on our Global Mobility & Immigration team in the People Operations.
You're excited about this opportunity because you will…
- You'll take full ownership of our US immigration program - managing day-to-day immigration cases (work visas, green cards, compliance tracking) in close partnership with employees, managers, recruiters, and vendors to ensure timely, compliant, and employee-friendly processes.
- Act as a subject matter expert for complex immigration scenarios and serve as the internal point of contact, providing clear guidance on immigration processes, policies, and timelines.
- Support process improvements, data accuracy, and reporting across our immigration portfolio.
- Contribute to scalable practices as our team grows, proactively identifying program gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Be part of a supportive and fast-paced global People team that values collaboration and innovative problem-solving.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Legal, Talent Acquisition) and our larger GMI team to ensure alignment and compliance.
We're excited about you because…
- You have at least 4-6 years of experience in US immigration (e.g., at a law firm, vendor, or in-house program) within a high-volume environment.
- You've supported or managed high-volume immigration programs and thrive on taking ownership of day-to-day execution with accuracy and reliability.
- You have deep expertise in common US nonimmigrant visa categories (H-1B, L-1, TN, E-3, O-1), as well as experience managing large PERM and immigrant visa programs.
- You stay up to date with the latest changes in the US immigration landscape to identify potential areas of risk and plan mitigation strategies.
- You're able to manage multiple cases at once with accuracy and care, and you communicate clearly and collaboratively with employees and partners.
- You thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment and are eager to grow your scope over time.
- You have experience with case management systems or centralized vendor platforms to manage immigration cases efficiently.
- You're a collaborative team player who enjoys working cross-functionally and continuously improving how immigration programs operate.
- You're curious and open to thoughtfully using AI tools to enhance efficiency, insights, and impact in your work.
We expect to fill this position by 6/20/2026.

Frame Your Credentials Around Payments Compliance
DoorDash's compliance function covers payments regulation, money transmission licensing, and marketplace policy. Tailor your resume to highlight experience in fintech or platform-side regulatory work, not just traditional corporate compliance, so your background maps directly to their actual risk surface.
Target Roles That Mention Licensing or Regulatory Affairs
DoorDash files across multiple visa categories, including E-3 and H-1B1, so Australians and Singaporeans often move faster than H-1B cap candidates. Filter open compliance roles by team focus, then verify which visa category your nationality qualifies for before applying.
Find DoorDash Compliance Openings Through Migrate Mate
Compliance roles at DoorDash rarely surface through generic job boards with sponsorship filters intact. Use Migrate Mate to browse current DoorDash compliance openings already tagged by visa type, so you're applying to roles where sponsorship is confirmed rather than assumed.
Clarify Your OPT Start Date Early in Interviews
If you're on F-1 OPT, DoorDash needs enough runway to complete onboarding and initiate any follow-on petition before your authorization expires. Confirm your OPT end date upfront and check whether STEM OPT extension eligibility applies to your degree, since compliance roles often fall under qualifying fields.
Understand the LCA Before Your Offer Is Finalized
DoorDash must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before your H-1B or E-3 petition can proceed. The LCA certifies your offered wage meets the prevailing wage for the compliance role in the specific work location, so a remote-versus-onsite distinction on your offer letter directly affects this filing.
Prepare for a Compliance-Specific Skills Screen
DoorDash compliance interviews often include scenario questions tied to state money transmission laws or platform merchant risk. Reviewing the regulatory environment around marketplace platforms, not just general corporate governance frameworks, gives you a concrete edge over candidates with purely traditional backgrounds.

Find Compliance at DoorDash JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does DoorDash sponsor H-1B visas for Compliance roles?
Yes, DoorDash sponsors H-1B visas for Compliance positions. Because H-1B cap-subject petitions require winning the annual USCIS lottery, timing matters significantly. Candidates already in H-1B status transferring from another employer avoid the lottery entirely and can start sooner, which makes them attractive to DoorDash's compliance hiring team.
Which visa types are commonly used for Compliance roles at DoorDash?
DoorDash sponsors H-1B, E-3, H-1B1, TN, and F-1 OPT for Compliance roles, along with Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3. Australian citizens benefit from the E-3 category, which has no lottery and allows year-round filing. Canadian and Mexican professionals in qualifying compliance specialties may qualify for TN status, which can move faster than H-1B processing.
How do I apply for Compliance jobs at DoorDash?
Start by identifying open compliance roles that align with your specialty, whether that's payments regulation, licensing, or platform policy. Migrate Mate lists DoorDash compliance openings with visa sponsorship context already surfaced, so you can confirm sponsorship before investing time in an application. Apply directly through DoorDash's careers portal after identifying the right role.
What qualifications does DoorDash expect for sponsored Compliance roles?
DoorDash compliance roles typically require a background in regulatory operations, financial services law, or technology platform policy. Experience with payments compliance, state licensing frameworks, or marketplace merchant risk carries the most weight. A J.D. or relevant bachelor's degree in a specialized field is generally expected for H-1B specialty occupation eligibility, and prior in-house tech company experience is a strong differentiator.
How do I time my application around the H-1B lottery for a DoorDash Compliance role?
USCIS opens H-1B registrations in March each year for an October 1 start date. If you're not already in H-1B status, engaging with DoorDash's recruiting team between October and February gives you the best window to secure an offer, complete onboarding steps, and have your registration submitted before the March deadline. Cap-exempt pathways like E-3 or H-1B1 bypass this cycle entirely.
