About The Team
Our sales and partner management teams are the heart and soul of DoorDash, helping us partner with top merchants (think restaurants, grocers, convenience stores, retailers) across the country to grow their revenue and help them operate even better. As DoorDash grows both in scale and scope of offering, the strength of our sales engine and organizational structure must grow with it. We are looking for a Senior Associate in Sales Strategy and Operations to 1. Develop strategic plans to accelerate our acquisition of US restaurants at scale, 2. Leverage data tools (e.g. SQL, Tableau) and CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) to help enhance sales productivity in targeting and closing the most valuable merchants. You’ll partner closely with our sales, selection, operations, product, and analytics teams to build the foundation for success.
About The Role
Within this job posting, we’re hiring for roles on the following team(s):
Core And Vendor Sales S&O
We are looking for a Senior Associate to build and execute the Sales strategy for US Pre-Sales Rx. You will work closely with internal stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, GTMT, Product, Finance, and more!) to acquire, retain and grow Merchants at scale. You will report into the Senior Manager of Pre-Sales S&O.
This will include developing go-to-market playbooks, revenue optimization, strategic plans to enhance productivity, process redesign, product roadmap and launches, resource allocation and pipeline analytics. You will sit at the center of our revenue generation engine - this will require prioritization and data-driven insights to ensure our teams are working against the right goals and have the tools needed to achieve them.
You’re Excited About This Role Because You’ll…
Build – develop and drive the future of US Pre-Sales Restaurant Acquisition
Experiment – scope tests and experiments on everything from adoption to optimization
Implement – drive tactical day to day operations and implement efficient improvements to optimize business impact
Influence – work with our Merchant, Product, Engineering, Operations and Sales teams to scale business impact
We’re Excited About You Because…
You have 2+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, business development, operations, technology, banking, analytics or related experience with a track record of leading initiatives and hitting goals
You have strong cross functional business experience, project management, and communication skills
You are comfortable working with large data sets + modeling in Excel / Google Sheets, advanced proficiency in SQL, and well-versed in data visualization tools (e.g. Sigma, Tableau) to help solve ambiguous problems
You are willing to roll up their sleeves and flex up or down as needed - “humble doer”
You have a Bachelor’s degree or higher
You map complex operational workflows, diagnose data gaps, and architect AI-driven solutions end-to-end—from process discovery through prototype to production deployment. You build in AI tooling (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) and ship real automation that eliminates manual work, closes visibility gaps, and accelerates decision-making across the business. You think in systems, not features. You treat every broken process as a build opportunity and every data gap as a use case waiting to be deployed. This is not an AI-curious role; this is an AI-native operating environment where you are expected to build, test, and iterate continuously.
We expect this position to be filled by 10/10/2026.

Align Your Background to GTM Operations
DoorDash Sales Operations roles prioritize CRM management, pipeline analytics, and sales process design. Frame your resume around quantified improvements to sales efficiency or forecasting accuracy, not just tool proficiency. Salesforce and SQL experience are frequently listed requirements.
Identify Roles That Map to Your Visa Category
DoorDash sponsors multiple visa types for Sales Operations, including H-1B, E-3, TN, and F-1 OPT. Use Migrate Mate to filter open Sales Operations positions at DoorDash by the visa type that matches your situation before you apply.
Time Your OPT Application Around Hiring Cycles
DoorDash recruits Sales Operations candidates on a rolling basis, but headcount often opens in Q1 and Q3. If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your remaining authorization window covers the full onboarding timeline. USCIS OPT extensions for STEM-eligible roles can cover gaps if your degree qualifies.
Confirm the Role Qualifies as a Specialty Occupation
H-1B approval for Sales Operations depends on the role requiring a specific bachelor's degree, not just any degree. Positions titled Senior Analyst or Strategy and Operations are stronger candidates than generalist titles. Review the job description for explicit degree field requirements before accepting.
Ask About LCA Filing Status During Offer Negotiation
Your H-1B or E-3 process cannot start until DoorDash files a certified Labor Condition Application with DOL. Ask your recruiter or HR contact which law firm handles their immigration filings and what the typical turnaround is from offer acceptance to petition submission.
Prepare for Employer Verification Steps Early
DoorDash participates in E-Verify, so your employment authorization documents need to be current and complete before your start date. If you're changing status from another visa, gather your current I-94, prior approval notices, and any OPT or EAD cards well before onboarding.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does DoorDash sponsor H-1B visas for Sales Operations?
Yes, DoorDash sponsors H-1B visas for Sales Operations roles. The role needs to qualify as a specialty occupation, meaning it requires a specific bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, finance, or data analytics. Titles like Sales Strategy Analyst or Revenue Operations Manager tend to meet this bar more reliably than generalist operations titles.
How do I apply for Sales Operations jobs at DoorDash?
Applications go through DoorDash's careers portal. You can browse and filter open Sales Operations positions that match your visa type on Migrate Mate before applying directly. Tailor your application to show experience with sales tooling, pipeline management, or cross-functional go-to-market work, since those competencies appear consistently across DoorDash's Sales Operations job descriptions.
Which visa types does DoorDash commonly use for Sales Operations roles?
DoorDash sponsors H-1B, H-1B1 visa, E-3 visa, TN visa, EB-2, EB-3, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and J-1 visas for Sales Operations positions. Australian and Canadian candidates have additional pathways through the E-3 visa and TN visa categories, which skip the H-1B lottery entirely. F-1 OPT and CPT are common entry points for candidates early in their career who later transition to H-1B.
What qualifications does DoorDash expect for Sales Operations roles?
Most Sales Operations roles at DoorDash expect proficiency in CRM platforms such as Salesforce, experience with data analysis tools like SQL or Looker, and a track record of supporting sales teams at scale. A bachelor's degree in business, economics, or a quantitative field is standard. Senior roles typically require prior operations or strategy experience at a technology company or high-growth startup.
How do I navigate the visa sponsorship timeline when targeting DoorDash?
H-1B petitions for cap-subject candidates must be filed in April for an October 1 start date, so aligning your offer timeline with DoorDash's Q1 recruiting cycle matters. E-3 and TN candidates have more flexibility since those categories have no annual cap. Once you receive an offer, DoorDash's legal team files the Labor Condition Application with DOL before the petition can be submitted to USCIS.
