The Procurement Intern will support the Procurement team in day-to-day sourcing and purchasing activities. This role offers hands-on exposure to vendor management, purchasing processes, and cross-functional collaboration, providing a strong foundation in corporate procurement within a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Intern, Procurement:
- Provides tactical support to the team by assisting in tasks such as purchase order processing, vendor management, and document filing.
- Assists in gathering and organizing data from various sources, including internal systems, supplier communications, and market research.
- Assists in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of supplier information, pricing, and contract terms.
- May prepare and distribute procurement-related documentation as needed, including purchase orders, contracts, and vendor correspondence.
- May support the team in analyzing data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Skills and Experience of the Intern, Procurement:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
- Proven organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools.
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn and interest in procurement or supply chain.
Details:
- Pay for this position will be $25/hour.
- Interns will be located in our NYC office on a hybrid schedule. The intern must live within commutable distance to the office and provide own housing. A housing stipend or relocation assistance will not be offered.
- The duration of our program is 10 weeks, beginning on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
- Candidates must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate course of study and be a rising senior (senior commencing Fall 2026) with a minimum GPA of 3.3 and be eligible to work in the US.
