Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented, domain-expert Senior Product Manager to own and advance key features within our market-leading Revenue Lifecycle Management product portfolio. This is a critical role spanning high-touch enterprise sales and high-velocity product-led-growth (PLG), requiring a deep understanding of complex order orchestration, automated revenue operations, and scalable API-driven ingestion, and the ability to act as a full lifecycle product manager, taking ideas from Discovery through GTM. You won't just be managing a backlog; you will be the bridge between complex revenue operations requirements and elegant software solutions. You will lead customer discovery, craft engaging customer experiences, and serve as a primary decision-maker in the constant balance between delivering high-value features and meeting aggressive time-to-market goals.
About You
You are exceptionally organized and driven with an ability to manage complex projects, coordinate across teams, and ensure flawless execution. You have order-to-cash acumen and are eager to partner directly with product leadership to drive new product innovation in the enterprise SaaS space. You are passionate about the success of each product feature, measuring and ensuring adoption by customers.
The Experience and Skills You Bring
-
Hybrid Order Expertise: 3–5+ years of PM experience managing order-to-cash workflows for businesses with both Enterprise Sales (CPQ/CRM-led) and PLG/E-commerce (API-led) motions.
-
Transactional & Rating Nuance: Deep understanding of the "math" behind an order. You are comfortable defining logic for complex charges, credits, and usage-based rating. You understand proration, tiered pricing, and how "Order" data dictates downstream "Invoicing" accuracy.
-
Hands-on Technical Literacy: You don't just write docs; you explore the system. You are proficient in SQL for auditing order data and Postman for testing ingestion APIs. You can read a JSON payload and explain to a dev why a specific discount didn't map correctly to a Revenue Contract.
-
Integration & Data Ingestion: Experience with diverse ingestion patterns—from automated REST APIs for web checkouts to mediating complex PDFs or Salesforce CPQ data for enterprise deals.
-
Full Lifecycle GTM: Proven track record of taking a feature from deep Discovery (talking to CFOs and RevOps) to GTM Execution (training Sales and Professional Services, and creating technical documentation).
-
Communication & Presentation: Exceptional verbal and written English. You can explain a "tiered-volume rating" logic to a developer and a business stakeholder with equal clarity, ensuring everyone understands the financial outcome.
Your Mindset and Approach
-
Exceptional Executive Function: You possess outstanding organization, detail orientation, and high accountability. You are meticulous and ensure that no critical detail or dependency is missed when managing complex projects.
-
Master of Collaboration: You are a proactive leader who aligns stakeholders—from engineering to sales, marketing, and services—driving consensus, shared ownership, and accountability toward a unified goal.
-
Bias for Action and Delivery: You are results-focused and self-starting, demonstrating the "hustle" required to manage multiple deadlines, navigate ambiguity, and drive initiatives to completion.
-
AI-Augmented PM: You don't just use AI; you treat it as a core collaborator. You are an early adopter of GenAI tooling (e.g., Claude Code/Cowork, Figma Make) to accelerate your own output and bridge the gap between a business requirement and a technical specification.
-
Systems Thinker: You don't look at a feature in a vacuum. You consider how an order amendment affects the final invoice, revenue contract, and the ledger.
-
Proactive Discovery: You understand that a PM’s value is a function of their customer knowledge; you conduct user discovery rapidly to ensure we are solving the right problems for our enterprise customers while still moving fast to market.
-
Hands-On Technologist: You are a "hands-on" PM who is comfortable navigating the technical layers of a product. This includes the ability to write SQL queries for data analysis, use API tools (like Postman) to validate system behavior, and a deep understanding of how data flows through a multi-tenant SaaS architecture. You don't just define the "what"; you understand the "how" behind the product’s functionality.
Responsibilities
-
Assume ownership of our Orders product roadmap and E-Commerce Playbook, becoming the trusted expert on how Orders flow from external systems into BillingPlatform.
-
Develop a deep understanding of customer personas and order workflows, ensuring that our products solve meaningful, real-world problems.
-
Analyze product usage, customer feedback, and market signals to identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities for billing innovation.
-
Partner with Product leadership to define, prioritize, and maintain the Orders roadmap, translating insights into actionable initiatives with clear success metrics.
-
Collaborate with UX Design to make complex commerce workflows feel intuitive and with Engineering to ensure our platform remains scalable and performant.
-
Write clear, outcome-oriented product requirements and partner with engineering to deliver functionality that improves the value customers realize from the platform.
-
Serve as the dedicated Product Owner for an engineering squad, ensuring a constant flow of high-quality, AI-collaborated, well-defined workflows and user experiences for every sprint.
-
Lead readiness and go-to-market execution, including documentation, field enablement, and marketing collaboration for successful launches.
-
Validate and demonstrate new functionality, ensuring releases satisfy the original product intent and customer expectations.
-
Represent BillingPlatform’s Billing capabilities in executive demos, customer briefings, and strategic opportunities.
-
Perform competitive analysis and market intelligence around order-to-cash functionality.
Benefits
-
Competitive compensation with a robust benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, LTD, HSA, FSA, free virtual mental health counseling, and health and wellness perks
-
Medical insurance coverage effective on the first day of employment
-
401(k) match that is 100% immediately vested
-
Discretionary and charitable time off program
-
Home office setup allowance for fully remote employees
Compensation & Equal Opportunity
-
Base Salary: $150,000 – $180,000 per year
-
Bonus: Performance-based bonus in addition to base salary

Target roles aligned with BillingPlatform's core product
BillingPlatform builds complex billing and revenue management software, so roles in software engineering, product development, and platform architecture are where sponsorship activity tends to concentrate. Align your application to these technical domains for the strongest fit.
Understand their Green Card commitment
BillingPlatform has a strong track record of sponsoring permanent residence, not just temporary work visas. If long-term U.S. authorization is your goal, this signals a company willing to invest in employees beyond the initial hire.
Browse visa-verified openings before applying
Not every job posting at a sponsoring company leads to a sponsored hire. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and find BillingPlatform roles confirmed to support visa applicants.
Prepare for a technical-heavy interview process
As a Technology and Software company, BillingPlatform's hiring process for sponsored roles typically involves multiple technical rounds. Strong preparation in system design, billing logic, or cloud infrastructure will strengthen your candidacy significantly.
Position yourself for EB-2 or EB-3 early
BillingPlatform has demonstrated an active pattern of pursuing employment-based Green Cards for employees. When interviewing, asking about long-term immigration support signals your intent to grow with the company, which resonates with sponsors at this level.

Find BillingPlatform JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does BillingPlatform sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, BillingPlatform sponsors H-1B visas. While H-1B sponsorship represents a smaller share of their overall immigration activity compared to employment-based Green Cards, the company has demonstrated willingness to support H-1B workers. Roles in software engineering and technical product development are the most likely candidates for H-1B sponsorship.
What visa types does BillingPlatform sponsor?
BillingPlatform sponsors H-1B, F-1 OPT, TN, and employment-based Green Cards including EB-2 and EB-3 categories. Their immigration activity skews heavily toward permanent residence sponsorship, which makes them a strong option for candidates seeking long-term work authorization in the United States, not just a temporary visa bridge.
Which departments or roles at BillingPlatform are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at BillingPlatform is most common in technical roles, particularly software engineering, platform development, and product-adjacent positions that support their core billing and revenue management product. Roles requiring specialized skills in cloud infrastructure, backend systems, or SaaS architecture tend to align most closely with their sponsored hiring patterns.
How do I find currently open sponsored roles at BillingPlatform?
The most reliable way is to use Migrate Mate, which tracks companies with verified sponsorship histories and surfaces open roles filtered by visa type. Because not every job listing at a sponsoring company explicitly mentions visa support, filtering through a platform that cross-references real immigration filing data helps you avoid wasted applications.
How do I approach the application timeline when targeting BillingPlatform for H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B petitions must be filed by April 1 for an October 1 start date, so timing your offer and onboarding around that window is critical. If you're on F-1 OPT, starting the interview process at least three to four months before the filing deadline gives BillingPlatform enough lead time to prepare your petition without rushing the process.
