Focus on technical and clinical specializations
BioHorizons primarily sponsors roles requiring deep expertise in medical devices, biomaterials, or implant systems. Candidates with specialized engineering, regulatory affairs, or clinical research backgrounds are more likely to secure H-1B sponsorship than generalist applicants.
Understand the H-1B specialty occupation requirement
BioHorizons sponsors H-1B visas, which require your role to qualify as a specialty occupation. Make sure your job title and responsibilities clearly align with a degree requirement in a specific technical or scientific field relevant to medical devices.
Target roles in product development and regulatory compliance
Medical device companies like BioHorizons frequently need expertise in product engineering, regulatory submissions, and quality assurance. These functions depend on specialized credentials that naturally support H-1B sponsorship eligibility.
Approach the hiring timeline with H-1B cap dates in mind
If you need a new H-1B, USCIS filing opens each April for an October start date. Engage with BioHorizons early in the year so your offer and petition can be submitted before the cap closes.
Demonstrate industry-specific credentials upfront
BioHorizons operates in a highly regulated space where certifications, relevant degrees, and hands-on experience with implant systems or FDA processes carry real weight. Lead with these qualifications in your resume and cover letter.
Search for verified sponsorship opportunities before applying
Not every medical device company openly advertises sponsorship willingness. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and target BioHorizons roles where H-1B support is confirmed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does BioHorizons Implant Systems sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, BioHorizons Implant Systems sponsors H-1B visas. The company has an established track record of filing H-1B petitions for qualified international professionals in technical and specialized roles within the medical devices industry. Sponsorship is focused on positions that meet the specialty occupation standard, so candidates with relevant degrees and credentials in fields like biomedical engineering, regulatory affairs, or clinical sciences are the strongest fits.
What types of roles at BioHorizons Implant Systems are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at BioHorizons tends to concentrate in roles requiring specialized technical knowledge tied to the medical devices industry. This includes positions in biomedical or mechanical engineering, regulatory affairs, product development, quality systems, and clinical research. These functions demand degree-specific expertise that aligns well with the H-1B specialty occupation requirement, making them the most common pathways for international candidates seeking sponsorship.
How do I find open H-1B sponsored jobs at BioHorizons Implant Systems?
The most reliable way is to search on Migrate Mate, which aggregates verified employer sponsorship histories so you can identify current BioHorizons openings with confirmed H-1B support. Filtering by company name lets you see active roles without having to guess whether sponsorship is available. This removes a major source of uncertainty early in your job search.
What is the typical H-1B application timeline if I receive an offer from BioHorizons Implant Systems?
Once BioHorizons extends an offer, the employer typically works with an immigration attorney to prepare and file your H-1B petition. For cap-subject candidates, USCIS registration opens in March, the lottery runs in late March, and approved petitions are filed by early April for an October 1 start date. If your petition is already cap-exempt or you're transferring an existing H-1B, the timeline is shorter and not tied to the annual cycle.
Does BioHorizons Implant Systems sponsor Green Cards?
BioHorizons' documented sponsorship activity has been concentrated in H-1B nonimmigrant visa filings. While some medical device employers do support Green Card petitions for long-tenured employees, this is typically considered after a period of employment rather than at the time of initial hiring. It's worth discussing long-term immigration support directly with your hiring contact or recruiter during the offer negotiation stage.
