Frame your credentials around engineering client workflows
BKF Engineers works on civil and infrastructure projects, so tailor your resume to show experience managing technical client relationships, not just general account management. Highlight outcomes tied to project delivery, stakeholder communication, or professional services environments.
Confirm the role qualifies as a specialty occupation
Customer Success positions at engineering consulting firms can face USCIS scrutiny over whether they require a bachelor's degree in a specific field. Before applying, verify the job description ties to a defined discipline like engineering, business, or information systems to support an H-1B petition.
Ask about permanent residence pathways during the offer stage
BKF Engineers has sponsored EB-2 and EB-3 petitions for this function. During negotiations, ask directly whether the role is designated for a sponsored position and what the expected PERM labor certification timeline looks like from your start date.
Target open roles aligned with active infrastructure projects
BKF Engineers posts Customer Success openings tied to specific regional offices and project pipelines. Roles connected to active contracts are more likely to move quickly through the hiring process, which matters if you're working against a visa deadline or OPT expiration.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Customer Success roles at engineering firms
Sponsorship-confirmed Customer Success openings in consulting are hard to surface through general job boards. Search Migrate Mate to filter specifically for firms like BKF Engineers that have filed for this role category, so you're applying where sponsorship is already established practice.
Prepare for a longer PERM timeline before your interview
EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship requires DOL PERM labor certification before USCIS can adjudicate your immigrant petition. The DOL processing window currently runs several months. Confirm with the hiring team whether recruitment steps for PERM are already underway or will begin at hire.

Find Customer Success at BKF Engineers JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does BKF Engineers sponsor H-1B visas for Customer Success?
BKF Engineers' documented sponsorship activity for Customer Success roles sits primarily in the EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visa categories rather than H-1B nonimmigrant petitions. If you're currently on OPT or another nonimmigrant status, clarify during the interview process whether the company is prepared to support an H-1B petition in addition to or ahead of a permanent residence pathway.
How do I apply for Customer Success jobs at BKF Engineers?
Applications go through BKF Engineers' careers page, where openings are listed by region and practice area. Before applying, tailor your materials to reflect experience supporting technical or professional services clients. You can also find and browse confirmed Customer Success openings at BKF Engineers through Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for roles with visa sponsorship history.
Which visa types are commonly used for Customer Success roles at BKF Engineers?
BKF Engineers has sponsored Customer Success professionals through the EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based Green Card categories. EB-2 applies when the role requires an advanced degree or demonstrably exceptional ability. EB-3 covers positions requiring at minimum a bachelor's degree. Both pathways go through DOL PERM labor certification before USCIS adjudication, so the process spans longer than a nonimmigrant visa.
What qualifications does BKF Engineers expect for Customer Success roles?
BKF Engineers is a civil and infrastructure engineering consultancy, so Customer Success candidates are expected to have experience managing relationships in a technical or professional services context. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, business, or communications, strengthens both your candidacy and the case for specialty occupation status if an H-1B petition is required.
How long does the visa sponsorship process typically take at BKF Engineers?
For EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship, the process starts with DOL PERM labor certification, which currently takes several months under normal processing. USCIS then adjudicates the I-140 immigrant petition, and depending on your country of birth and priority date, additional waiting periods may apply. Raise the timeline early in negotiations so you and the employer can plan around any gaps in work authorization.
