Find Structural Project Engineer at Carollo Engineers JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Carollo Engineers sponsor H-1B visas for Structural Project Engineers?
Yes, Carollo Engineers sponsors H-1B visas for Structural Project Engineers. The firm has a documented history of filing H-1B petitions for engineering roles, and structural positions fall squarely within the specialty occupation definition USCIS uses to evaluate these petitions. If you're subject to the H-1B cap lottery, confirm timing with the hiring team early in the process.
Which visa types does Carollo Engineers commonly sponsor for Structural Project Engineer roles?
Carollo Engineers sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1, and Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for qualifying candidates. The right category depends on your nationality and current status. Australian citizens are well-positioned for the E-3 visa, which skips the H-1B lottery entirely. Canadian and Mexican engineers may qualify for TN status, which can be obtained at the border without a prior USCIS filing.
What qualifications and experience does Carollo Engineers expect for Structural Project Engineers?
Carollo typically looks for a bachelor's or master's degree in civil or structural engineering from an accredited program, along with experience in infrastructure-related structural design. Familiarity with water and wastewater facility structures, such as concrete tanks, pump stations, or treatment plant buildings, is a strong differentiator. Progress toward a Professional Engineer license is expected, and candidates with an Engineer-in-Training credential are competitive for mid-level roles.
How do I apply for Structural Project Engineer jobs at Carollo Engineers?
You can browse and filter open Structural Project Engineer positions at Carollo Engineers through Migrate Mate, which lets you search specifically for roles that offer the visa sponsorship type you need. Once you identify a relevant opening, apply directly through Carollo's careers portal with a resume tailored to infrastructure structural work and a clear statement of your visa status and sponsorship needs.
How do I plan my timeline if I need Carollo Engineers to sponsor an H-1B for a Structural Project Engineer role?
The H-1B cap lottery opens in March for an October 1 start date, so you need a job offer and a registered employer well before March. If you're on OPT, confirm whether your expiration date aligns with that window. Cap-exempt options like E-3 or TN have no lottery and can be processed in weeks, making them faster paths if your nationality qualifies. Start the conversation with Carollo's HR team about your status as early as the first interview.
