Position Summary
The Manager, Human Resources will report to the HR senior leadership team and manages global mobility, immigration and benefits compliance matters for the North American region in partnership with HR and Legal stakeholders. The role will also drive benefits compliance audits, regulatory filings, policy governance, and vendor oversight to mitigate risk and support operational excellence.
Functions & Duties
- Work with global and local stakeholders to coordinate and administer regional immigration including work eligibility and immigration processes
- Coordinate with the global mobility team and local human resources to update and confirm system and contractual activity associated with global mobility
- Provide regional weekly operational reporting and monthly aggregate reporting to business and HR stakeholders about the regional immigration/global mobility activity and also operational reporting
- Establish and administer the budget associated with regional immigration and global mobility
- Facilitate the regional ADA interactive process for the North American workforce
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments impacting health, welfare, retirement, leave, and wellness programs and provide recommendations to ensure ongoing compliance
- Manage compliance audits, government inquiries, and regulatory examinations, partnering with internal and external stakeholders to address findings and implement corrective actions
- Ensure benefit plan documents, policies, procedures, and employee communications accurately reflect plan provisions and regulatory requirements
- Conduct periodic compliance assessments of benefit plans, leave programs, and vendor administration practices to identify potential risks and ensure operational effectiveness
- Manage nondiscrimination testing, eligibility reviews, dependent audits, and compliance monitoring for health and welfare plans
- Develop and deliver compliance training and education for HR teams, managers, and plan administrators

At CMA CGM, we are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The expected salary range for this position is $95,000 – $122,000 per year. The actual salary offered will be based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and location.
In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for:
