Align your HR credentials to healthcare compliance
DaVita HR roles often touch HIPAA compliance, healthcare workforce regulations, and Joint Commission standards. Framing your resume around experience in regulated industries signals you can operate in DaVita's clinical environment from day one.
Target HR business partner roles strategically
DaVita frequently hires HR business partners to support regional clinic operations. These roles require a blend of employee relations and operational HR skills, making them a stronger sponsorship fit than generalist or entry-level coordinator positions.
Search open DaVita HR positions through Migrate Mate
Filter by Human Resources and Healthcare on Migrate Mate to surface DaVita roles with confirmed sponsorship history. This saves time you'd otherwise spend vetting individual postings for visa eligibility before applying.
Clarify sponsorship scope before your final interview round
DaVita's HR talent acquisition team is experienced with sponsorship questions, but visa type eligibility can vary by role level and location. Ask directly whether your specific role qualifies for H-1B or TN sponsorship before accepting an offer.
Prepare your F-1 OPT timeline for corporate HR roles
If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your STEM extension eligibility and remaining authorized period before your start date. DaVita requires E-Verify compliance for all hires, so your I-20 and EAD documentation need to be current and readily available.
Understand the PERM timeline for EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship
Permanent residency sponsorship for HR roles typically requires DOL PERM labor certification before USCIS petition filing, a process that runs 12 to 18 months or more. Raise this conversation early with your hiring manager, not after you've accepted the offer.

Find Human Resources at DaVita JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does DaVita sponsor H-1B visas for Human Resources?
Yes, DaVita sponsors H-1B visas for Human Resources roles, particularly at the HR business partner, talent acquisition, and total rewards specialist levels. Sponsorship eligibility can depend on the specific role, location, and whether the position meets USCIS specialty occupation criteria. Confirming sponsorship availability directly with DaVita's recruiting team during the interview process is the right approach.
How do I apply for Human Resources jobs at DaVita?
Applications go through DaVita's careers portal, where you can filter by function and location. Migrate Mate also surfaces DaVita Human Resources openings with sponsorship context, making it easier to identify roles where visa candidates have historically been considered. Tailoring your application to highlight healthcare industry HR experience improves your chances of moving through their screening process.
Which visa types does DaVita commonly sponsor for Human Resources roles?
DaVita supports several visa categories for Human Resources positions, including H-1B for specialty occupation roles, TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying HR classifications, and F-1 OPT and CPT for students in early-career HR positions. For longer-term employment, DaVita has also sponsored EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways for HR professionals in established roles.
What qualifications does DaVita expect for sponsored Human Resources positions?
Most sponsored HR roles at DaVita require a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR business partner positions typically expect several years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a healthcare or highly regulated environment. Familiarity with healthcare workforce compliance, employee relations in a unionized or clinical setting, and HRIS platforms strengthens your candidacy significantly.
How do I navigate the visa filing timeline after receiving a DaVita HR offer?
H-1B petitions have a statutory October 1 start date tied to USCIS's annual cap and lottery, so timing your offer and registration window is critical. TN visas move faster and don't require USCIS approval in most cases. DaVita's HR and legal teams manage the filing process, but understanding your current status, grace periods, and any gap between your offer and petition start date helps you plan without interrupting employment authorization.
