Match your degree to formulation roles
AMOREPACIFIC's E-3 filings tend to cluster around technical and scientific functions. Before applying, verify your degree field aligns with the specific role using O*NET to confirm the specialty occupation standard the employer will need to document.
Request LCA filing before accepting
Once you have a verbal offer, ask the recruiter which team handles the Labor Condition Application. Delays in LCA certification with DOL can push your start date, so confirm the employer has initiated this step before you give notice.
Search AMOREPACIFIC roles on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter AMOREPACIFIC's verified E-3 filing history by role type. This lets you target positions the company has sponsored before, rather than applying broadly and hoping a given team has navigated the process.
Benchmark your salary against OFLC Wage Search
AMOREPACIFIC must pay the prevailing wage for your occupation and location under E-3 rules. Before your offer negotiation, run your job title and work location through OFLC Wage Search so you know the wage floor the company is legally required to meet.
Prepare a credential evaluation for your Australian degree
Australian three-year bachelor's degrees are generally accepted as equivalent to U.S. four-year degrees for E-3 purposes, but having a credential evaluation ready from a recognized service removes ambiguity and speeds up the employer's internal approval process.
Clarify visa support scope during the offer stage
Some companies cover E-3 filing costs entirely while others split fees with the employee. Ask HR directly whether AMOREPACIFIC covers the LCA, consular fees, and any attorney costs before you sign, so there are no surprises at the filing stage.
AMOREPACIFIC E-3 Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does AMOREPACIFIC sponsor E-3 visas?
Yes, AMOREPACIFIC sponsors E-3 visas for qualified Australian professionals. Sponsorship is concentrated in technical and scientific roles within the chemicals and materials space, including R&D and formulation functions. The E-3 requires a specialty occupation with a direct connection between your degree field and the role, which AMOREPACIFIC documents through the Labor Condition Application filed with DOL.
Which roles at AMOREPACIFIC typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship?
E-3 sponsorship at AMOREPACIFIC is most common in roles tied to the company's core business: formulation science, ingredient research, quality assurance, and technical development. These positions align closely with the specialty occupation standard because they require at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related scientific or technical field.
How do I navigate the E-3 application process at AMOREPACIFIC?
AMOREPACIFIC initiates the process by filing a Labor Condition Application with DOL, which certifies your offered wage meets the prevailing wage for your role and location. Once the LCA is certified, you complete the DS-160 and attend a consular interview in Australia. The full timeline from offer acceptance to visa stamp is typically four to eight weeks for straightforward cases.
How long does E-3 sponsorship take at AMOREPACIFIC?
The DOL typically certifies LCAs within seven business days. After that, consular appointment availability in Sydney, Melbourne, or Perth drives most of the timeline variation. Most applicants can complete the process within four to eight weeks of receiving a certified LCA, though peak periods at consulates can add time. USCIS processing isn't required for the E-3 since it's consular-based.
How do I strengthen my E-3 application for a role at AMOREPACIFIC?
Target roles where your degree field directly matches the job requirements, and prepare a credential evaluation for your Australian qualification in advance. Use Migrate Mate to identify which AMOREPACIFIC positions have an E-3 filing history before you apply. At the offer stage, confirm with HR that the LCA will be filed promptly and ask whether the company covers consular fees.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 sponsorship at AMOREPACIFIC?
E-3 employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, determined when they file a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, ensuring Australian hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
