Align your credentials to specialty occupation
Designs for Health's E-3 roles in healthcare and medical services require your degree to directly match the position's field. A nutrition science or clinical research degree tied to a specific role strengthens your specialty occupation case at application.
Target clinical and scientific openings specifically
E-3 sponsorship at Designs for Health clusters around roles requiring technical or clinical expertise, not generalist positions. Focus your outreach on scientific, regulatory, or product development teams where a bachelor's or higher degree is a genuine requirement.
Confirm prevailing wage compliance before accepting an offer
Before signing an offer, cross-check your offered salary against the OFLC Wage Search for your job title and location. Designs for Health's Labor Condition Application must certify a wage meeting or exceeding the DOL prevailing wage for your specific role.
Use Migrate Mate to verify Designs for Health's LCA history
Pull up Designs for Health's Labor Condition Application filing history on Migrate Mate to see which job titles and locations the company has filed for under E-3. That data tells you which roles have a real sponsorship precedent before you apply.
Prepare your degree equivalency documentation early
Australian three-year bachelor's degrees are generally accepted for E-3 specialty occupation purposes, but Designs for Health's HR team may request a credential evaluation. Get a National Association of Credential Evaluation Services assessment ready before you reach the offer stage.
Clarify the employer's LCA filing timeline at the offer stage
The E-3 process requires a certified LCA from DOL before your consular appointment. Ask Designs for Health's HR or legal contact how long they typically take to obtain LCA certification so you can schedule your consulate interview without unnecessary delays.
Designs for Health E-3 Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Designs for Health sponsor E-3 visas?
Yes, Designs for Health has a history of E-3 sponsorship for qualifying roles within its healthcare and medical services operations. Sponsorship is not blanket across all positions; it's tied to roles that meet the E-3 specialty occupation definition, meaning the job must require at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field.
Which roles at Designs for Health typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship?
Roles in clinical nutrition, scientific research, regulatory affairs, and product development at Designs for Health are most likely to meet E-3 specialty occupation requirements. Positions that require a specific degree in nutrition, life sciences, or a related clinical field carry the strongest eligibility case under USCIS standards.
How do I start the E-3 application process with Designs for Health?
Once you receive a job offer, Designs for Health's HR or immigration contact files a Labor Condition Application with DOL for your specific role and location. After DOL certifies the LCA, you take that document, your job offer letter, and supporting credentials to your consular interview at a U.S. embassy in Australia.
How long does the E-3 sponsorship process take at Designs for Health?
LCA certification from DOL typically takes around seven business days. U.S. consulate appointment availability in Australia then determines your overall timeline, which can range from a few weeks to a couple of months depending on the location and period. Starting the process immediately after receiving your offer minimizes delays.
How do I find open E-3 roles at Designs for Health?
Search Migrate Mate for Designs for Health's current job listings filtered by E-3 sponsorship eligibility. Reviewing the company's LCA filing history on Migrate Mate also helps you identify which departments and job titles have a verified sponsorship track record, so you can target your application more precisely.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 sponsorship at Designs for Health?
E-3 employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, determined when they file a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, ensuring Australian hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
