Align your credentials with specialty occupation standards
Rehab Employee Services hires for roles that must meet the E-3 specialty occupation definition, a direct-relationship bachelor's degree is required, not just preferred. Pull the O*NET profile for your target role and confirm the minimum education requirement before applying.
Request LCA filing before your start date
Your employer must file a Labor Condition Application with DOL before USCIS can process your E-3. At Rehab Employee Services, confirm with HR that LCA certification is built into their onboarding timeline, not treated as a post-offer formality that delays your start.
Verify your offered wage meets prevailing wage requirements
The E-3 LCA requires your salary to meet the DOL prevailing wage for your role and location. Use the OFLC Wage Search to look up the wage level for your specific occupation code before you receive a written offer, so you can negotiate from an informed position.
Target rehabilitation-specific departments directly
Rehab Employee Services operates across physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology. Direct your application to the clinical department that matches your specialty rather than general HR, since hiring managers in those units understand E-3 sponsorship requirements better than generalist recruiters.
Use Migrate Mate to prepare your E-3 filing documents
Once Rehab Employee Services extends an offer, you'll need a certified LCA, a job offer letter, and degree documentation for your consulate appointment. Migrate Mate handles the E-3 filing process at a flat fee and files within one business day of receiving your documents.
Prepare for consular review of clinical licensure
U.S. consular officers reviewing healthcare E-3 applications often scrutinize state licensure eligibility alongside the degree requirement. Confirm with your prospective employer that your Australian qualifications satisfy the relevant state licensing board before your visa interview appointment.
Integrity Rehab Group E-3 Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Rehab Employee Services sponsor E-3 visas?
Rehab Employee Services sponsors H-1B visas for healthcare roles, and those same positions can qualify for E-3 sponsorship for Australian citizens. If you're an Australian clinician applying for a specialty occupation role, ask the hiring team explicitly whether they'll support an E-3, since the employer filing process is less complex than H-1B and many companies agree when asked directly.
Which roles at Rehab Employee Services typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship?
Roles in physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology are the most likely candidates at Rehab Employee Services, since each requires a degree in a specific clinical field. General support or administrative positions are unlikely to meet the E-3 specialty occupation standard USCIS applies.
How do I start the E-3 application process at Rehab Employee Services?
After receiving a written job offer, your employer files a Labor Condition Application with DOL. Once that's certified, you attend a consulate interview in Australia with your offer letter, LCA, and degree credentials. Migrate Mate can manage the filing preparation and ensure your documents are consulate-ready before your appointment date.
How long does the E-3 sponsorship process take at Rehab Employee Services?
DOL certifies the LCA within seven business days in most cases. Consulate appointment wait times vary by location and season but commonly run two to six weeks. Build at least four to eight weeks of total lead time into your start date planning when discussing your offer with Rehab Employee Services HR.
How do I confirm my role qualifies as a specialty occupation for E-3 purposes?
Check the O*NET profile for your job title and confirm it lists a bachelor's degree in a specific field as the minimum requirement. For healthcare roles at Rehab Employee Services, the clinical degree requirement is usually clear, but if your title is a hybrid or management role, review the USCIS specialty occupation criteria before accepting the offer.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 sponsorship at Rehab Employee Services?
E-3 employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, determined when they file a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, ensuring Australian hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
