About us
Nourish is on a mission to improve people’s health by making it easy to eat well. Nutrition-related chronic disease is the largest and most overlooked crisis in the world. Food can be medicine: working with a Registered Dietitian is one of the most effective interventions available, but <1% of eligible Americans use their covered benefits. Nourish is building an AI-native, patient-friendly healthcare system centered on nutrition that improves outcomes, lowers costs, and helps people live healthier, longer lives. We launched three years ago, are live in all 50 states, and already have thousands of dietitians and hundreds of thousands of patients on the platform. We are growing quickly, have partnered with national health insurance companies and provider groups, and have raised $115M from top-tier VCs including JP Morgan Growth Equity, Thrive Capital, Index Ventures, Y Combinator, Maverick Ventures, Box Group, Atomico, G Squared, and Pinegrove Venture Partners. Our angel investors include world-class healthcare founders from Oscar, Rightway Health, Headway, Spring Health, and Alto Pharmacy, as well as soccer star Alex Morgan and the founders from Olipop and Notion. Align your credentials to U.S. licensing standards
Healthcare roles at Nourish often require U.S.-recognized credentials. Verify your Australian qualifications translate directly to the role's requirements and confirm any state licensing obligations before applying, since credential gaps can stall the E-3 filing process.
Target roles where your degree field matches exactly
E-3 requires a direct connection between your degree and the job. In healthcare settings like Nourish, a clinical nutrition or dietetics degree tied to a specific patient-facing role is far stronger than a general health sciences background.
Request LCA details before accepting an offer
Ask Nourish's HR team whether the Labor Condition Application has been initiated before you lock in a start date. LCA certification through DOL typically takes seven business days, but delays affect your consulate appointment timeline.
Use Migrate Mate to identify Nourish's E-3 filing history
Search Nourish on Migrate Mate to see verified DOL Labor Condition Application data for roles they've sponsored. This tells you which job titles have cleared E-3 before, helping you target the right positions from the start.
Prepare your specialty occupation documentation early
Nourish operates in a regulated healthcare space, so gather your degree transcripts, professional registration documents, and a role description that explicitly states a bachelor's degree in a related field is required, not just preferred.
Confirm your consulate appointment availability before your start date
E-3 visa interviews are scheduled at Australian consulates in Sydney, Melbourne, or Perth. Wait times vary by location and season, so book your appointment as soon as Nourish's certified LCA is in hand to avoid a delayed start.
Nourish E-3 Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Nourish sponsor E-3 visas?
Yes, Nourish sponsors E-3 visas for qualifying Australian professionals, particularly in healthcare and medical services roles. Sponsorship is targeted rather than broad, so roles that require specialized clinical or health-technology qualifications are the most viable path. Confirming the role qualifies as a specialty occupation under USCIS guidelines is the first step.
Which roles at Nourish typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship?
Roles in clinical nutrition, dietetics, health coaching, and related patient-care functions are most likely to qualify. E-3 requires the position to be a specialty occupation, meaning it must normally require at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. General or administrative healthcare roles are less likely to meet that threshold.
How do I navigate the E-3 application process at Nourish?
Once Nourish extends a job offer, their HR or legal team files a Labor Condition Application with DOL. After LCA certification, you apply directly at an Australian consulate with your offer letter, certified LCA, and supporting credentials. USCIS is not involved in consulate-based E-3 applications, which keeps the process faster than H-1B visa sponsorship.
How do I estimate the timeline for an E-3 visa through Nourish?
LCA certification typically takes around seven business days once Nourish submits it to DOL. Consulate appointment availability in Sydney, Melbourne, or Perth varies by season and can range from days to several weeks. Building at least three to five weeks between your offer acceptance and intended start date gives realistic buffer for the full process.
How do I find and apply for E-3 roles at Nourish?
Search Nourish on Migrate Mate to see roles tied to verified DOL Labor Condition Application filings, which confirms active sponsorship intent. When you apply directly, tailor your application to show the direct match between your Australian degree and the specific clinical or health-tech function the role requires, since that connection is central to E-3 eligibility.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 sponsorship at Nourish?
E-3 employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, determined when they file a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, ensuring Australian hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
