Align your credentials to aviation specialty roles
Wheels Up Partners operates in private aviation, so specialty occupation requirements matter here. Map your degree directly to roles like operations management, logistics, or aviation technology. Use O*NET to verify that your target job title requires a relevant bachelor's degree before applying.
Research prevailing wage before your offer
Before negotiating salary, run your target role and location through the OFLC Wage Search to find the DOL prevailing wage level. Your E-3 offer must meet this threshold, and knowing it in advance helps you assess whether an offer is compliant without waiting for HR to confirm.
Confirm Wheels Up's LCA filing process early
Ask your recruiter explicitly whether Wheels Up Partners files the Labor Condition Application through in-house legal or outside immigration counsel. Knowing this upfront tells you how long the employer-side preparation will take before you can book your consulate appointment.
Prepare for consulate-specific documentation requirements
E-3 applications are filed at the U.S. consulate in Australia, not through USCIS. Bring the certified LCA, a formal job offer letter, and evidence your degree matches the role. Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth consulates each have slightly different appointment availability and document checklists.
Use Migrate Mate to find and vet your application
Search Migrate Mate to identify Wheels Up Partners E-3 job listings and verify the company's LCA filing history by role. Once you have an offer, Migrate Mate's flat-fee filing service can manage your E-3 paperwork so nothing gets missed before your consulate date.
Time your application around Wheels Up's hiring cycles
Private aviation hiring often accelerates ahead of peak travel seasons. Targeting your application in late Q3 or early Q4 can align with budget approvals and new headcount. A strong interview pipeline matters more than timing alone, but seasonal awareness gives you a practical edge.
Wheels Up E-3 Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Wheels Up Partners sponsor E-3 visas?
Yes, Wheels Up Partners has sponsored E-3 visas for Australian professionals in specialty roles within the U.S. aviation industry. Sponsorship is targeted rather than broad, so your role must qualify as a specialty occupation under E-3 rules and your degree must align directly with the position.
Which roles at Wheels Up Partners typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship?
Roles in operations, logistics, aviation technology, and corporate functions with clear degree requirements are the most likely E-3 candidates at Wheels Up Partners. Positions requiring a specific bachelor's degree field, rather than any degree, are strongest for E-3 qualification. Confirm your job title meets the specialty occupation definition with your recruiter before accepting an offer.
How do I start the E-3 application process at Wheels Up Partners?
Once you have a written job offer, Wheels Up Partners or their immigration counsel files a Labor Condition Application with the DOL. After LCA certification, you apply directly at a U.S. consulate in Australia. You can use Migrate Mate to manage the paperwork and track each step from offer to visa stamp.
How long does E-3 sponsorship take at Wheels Up Partners?
The DOL typically certifies an LCA within seven business days. After that, consulate appointment availability in Australia is the main variable. Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth wait times fluctuate, but most applicants complete the full process within four to eight weeks of receiving a certified LCA and scheduling their interview.
How do I strengthen my E-3 application for a role at Wheels Up Partners?
Clearly document that your degree field directly matches the role's requirements. Bring a detailed job offer letter that describes specialty duties, not just a title. If your Australian degree is three years, prepare a credential evaluation confirming U.S. equivalency. Verifying the prevailing wage through the OFLC Wage Search before your offer stage also prevents last-minute salary compliance issues.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 sponsorship at Wheels Up Partners?
E-3 employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, determined when they file a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, ensuring Australian hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
