Align your credentials to Eaton's divisions
Eaton's Manufacturing Engineer roles span electrical, hydraulic, and aerospace product lines. Tailor your resume to highlight experience in high-volume production environments, lean manufacturing, or quality systems that match the specific division you're targeting.
Ask HR directly about LCA prevailing wages
Before accepting an offer, ask Eaton's HR or recruiting team which DOL prevailing wage level applies to your role and location. Manufacturing Engineer salaries vary by site, and the LCA filing locks in the wage floor for your H-1B petition.
Target sites with active production programs
Eaton's manufacturing campuses with ongoing product launches or facility expansions are more likely to have urgent engineering needs and therefore more flexibility in sponsoring international candidates. Search for openings tied to new program ramp-ups.
Prepare your degree equivalency documentation early
For H-1B specialty occupation petitions, USCIS requires your engineering degree to directly support the Manufacturing Engineer role. If your degree title is non-standard or from a three-year program, get a credential evaluation from a NACES-approved agency before your offer stage.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Eaton's sponsored openings
Eaton posts Manufacturing Engineer roles across many locations, not all of which offer sponsorship. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Eaton positions that have confirmed visa sponsorship, so you're only spending time on applications that can move forward.

Find Manufacturing Engineer at Eaton JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Eaton sponsor H-1B visas for Manufacturing Engineers?
Yes, Eaton sponsors H-1B visas for Manufacturing Engineers. The company has an active sponsorship track record for engineering roles across its manufacturing divisions. Your employer files the H-1B petition with USCIS after securing a certified Labor Condition Application from the DOL, so the process starts on Eaton's side once you have an offer.
Which visa types does Eaton commonly use for Manufacturing Engineer roles?
Eaton sponsors H-1B visas for most full-time Manufacturing Engineer hires and supports Green Card pathways through EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based categories for longer-term employees. The company also accepts F-1 OPT and CPT candidates for early-career and internship roles, and TN status for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying engineering positions.
How do I apply for Manufacturing Engineer jobs at Eaton?
Applications go through Eaton's careers portal, where you can filter by job function and location. You can also browse Eaton's sponsored Manufacturing Engineer openings directly on Migrate Mate, which shows only roles with confirmed visa sponsorship so you avoid applying to positions that won't support international candidates. Tailor your resume to the specific product division before submitting.
What qualifications does Eaton expect for Manufacturing Engineer roles?
Most roles require a bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, electrical, or manufacturing engineering. Eaton's job postings frequently reference experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, CAD tools, and production process improvement. For H-1B eligibility, your degree field needs to directly relate to the specific engineering role, which USCIS evaluates as part of the specialty occupation determination.
How do I plan my timeline around Eaton's H-1B sponsorship process?
The H-1B cap lottery opens in March each year for an October 1 start date, so your offer and USCIS registration need to happen before late February. If you're on OPT with STEM extension, you have up to three years of work authorization, which can bridge the gap between lottery cycles and give you more flexibility in your start date negotiations with Eaton.
