Target roles that align with E-3 specialty occupation requirements
FleishmanHillard's communications and consulting work centers on roles like account management, strategy, and research. Focus your application on positions requiring a relevant bachelor's degree, this is the foundation of a successful E-3 petition at any PR or consulting firm.
Lead with your communications credentials, not your visa needs
FleishmanHillard prioritizes candidates who understand media relations, brand strategy, and client services. Frame your qualifications around those competencies first. Sponsorship conversations go better when the hiring manager already sees you as a strong professional fit.
Time your outreach around major client campaign cycles
Consulting and PR firms like FleishmanHillard tend to hire ahead of busy periods tied to client launches and industry events. Applying when headcount needs are rising gives you a better chance of reaching a hiring manager actively building a team.
Use F-1 OPT as a foot in the door
FleishmanHillard has sponsored F-1 OPT candidates, making it a realistic target for recent graduates. Getting hired on OPT first lets you demonstrate your value before the firm commits to a longer-term visa process, which reduces friction for both sides.
Research open roles at verified sponsors before applying broadly
Not every firm in communications sponsors visas consistently. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and focus your energy on firms like FleishmanHillard that have a documented track record of supporting international hires.
Prepare to discuss your post-OPT status plan clearly
FleishmanHillard's sponsorship activity has included transitions from OPT to longer-term visa status. Coming into interviews with a clear, calm explanation of your visa timeline and what's required of the employer signals professionalism and reduces the uncertainty that often makes sponsors hesitate.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does FleishmanHillard sponsor H-1B visas?
Based on available sponsorship records, FleishmanHillard's documented visa activity has focused on E-3 visa and F-1 OPT rather than H-1B visa petitions. If H-1B sponsorship is important to your path, it's worth asking the recruiting team directly during the hiring process, as sponsorship policies can evolve with business needs.
Which visa types does FleishmanHillard sponsor?
FleishmanHillard has sponsored E-3 visas for Australian nationals and supported F-1 OPT candidates. The E-3 is well-suited to the firm's consulting and communications roles, which typically require a relevant bachelor's degree and professional expertise. If you hold Australian citizenship or are currently on F-1 OPT, FleishmanHillard is worth pursuing.
Which departments or roles at FleishmanHillard are most likely to sponsor visas?
Sponsorship at FleishmanHillard has been most associated with professional roles in communications, public relations, account strategy, and consulting services. Positions requiring specialized skills in media relations, research, or client management tend to align most closely with the specialty occupation criteria that E-3 and similar visa categories require.
How do I find open jobs at FleishmanHillard that are open to visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the most efficient way to find roles at companies like FleishmanHillard that have a verified sponsorship history. You can filter by visa type and industry to surface consulting and PR roles where sponsorship is genuinely on the table, rather than guessing from a generic job listing that may not mention visa support at all.
How do I approach the application process at FleishmanHillard as a visa-sponsored candidate?
Start by identifying roles that match your communications or consulting background and confirm the position qualifies as a specialty occupation under E-3 criteria. Apply with a resume tailored to the firm's client services focus. If you advance to interviews, be prepared to explain your visa situation clearly and concisely, and signal that you've already researched what the process involves for the employer.
