Target technical and engineering roles first

Understand FTAI's business before you apply
FTAI focuses on aircraft leasing, engine MRO, and aviation infrastructure. Demonstrating knowledge of their asset-light model and engine leasing business signals genuine industry interest, which matters more to niche aerospace employers than to large tech companies.

Does FTAI Aviation sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, FTAI Aviation sponsors H-1B visas. Their sponsorship activity is focused on specialized technical and engineering roles within the aerospace and defense sector. Green Card sponsorship has not been a consistent part of their recent sponsorship activity, so long-term permanent residency support is not guaranteed.
What types of roles at FTAI Aviation are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at FTAI Aviation is most common in technically specialized positions tied to their core business, aircraft leasing, engine maintenance, repair and overhaul, and aviation asset management. Engineering, operations, and finance roles with direct relevance to aerospace infrastructure are the most competitive. Generalist or administrative positions are unlikely to trigger sponsorship at a company of this size.
