Understand which visa types Georgia Tech supports
Georgia Tech sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, J-1, and Green Card pathways, as well as F-1 OPT and CPT. Knowing which category fits your background before applying lets you have an informed conversation with Georgia Tech's international HR team from the start.
Engage Georgia Tech's Office of International Education early
Georgia Tech has a dedicated international education office that manages visa petitions. Reaching out before or during the hiring process helps you understand the institution's specific sponsorship procedures, timelines, and any department-level requirements that could affect your application.
Australian applicants should highlight E-3 eligibility
