Match your credentials to EB pathway requirements
EB-2 requires an advanced degree or exceptional ability, while EB-3 covers professionals with a bachelor's degree and skilled workers. For dental roles at 42 North Dental Care, your licensure, degree level, and specialization determine which pathway USCIS will accept for your petition.
Prepare for the PERM labor certification stage
Before filing your immigrant petition, your employer must complete PERM through DOL, proving no qualified U.S. workers are available for your role. Gather documentation of your dental credentials, license, and work history early, since PERM audits can stall timelines by months if records are incomplete.
Use OFLC Wage Search to benchmark your salary offer
DOL requires your offered wage to meet or exceed the prevailing wage for your occupation and location. Run your job title and ZIP code through OFLC Wage Search before accepting an offer, so you can confirm 42 North Dental Care's compensation satisfies the wage requirement tied to your Green Card filing.
Target dental roles with consistent sponsorship history
Dental hygienists, dental assistants, and clinical coordinators are the roles most commonly sponsored for Green Cards in dental group practices. When applying to 42 North Dental Care, emphasize licensure, hands-on patient care experience, and any specialty certifications that align with their clinical staffing needs.
Find verified Green Card sponsors using Migrate Mate
Search Migrate Mate to filter dental employers by Green Card filing history, so you're targeting practices that have genuinely sponsored permanent residency, not just temporary work visas. This lets you prioritize 42 North Dental Care and similar employers before you invest time in the application process.
Clarify the I-140 filing timeline with HR before accepting
Once PERM is certified, your employer files Form I-140 with USCIS to establish your priority date. Ask 42 North Dental Care's HR or immigration contact how quickly they proceed from PERM certification to I-140 filing, since delays between these steps can extend your overall Green Card timeline significantly.
42 North Dental Care, Pllc Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does 42 North Dental Care, Pllc sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes. 42 North Dental Care sponsors Green Cards for eligible employees primarily through the EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visa categories. Sponsorship is most common for clinical dental roles where the employer can demonstrate a qualifying business need and meet DOL's prevailing wage requirements through the PERM labor certification process.
Which roles at 42 North Dental Care typically receive Green Card sponsorship?
Clinical and patient-facing roles are the most common candidates for Green Card sponsorship at dental group practices like 42 North Dental Care. Dental hygienists, dental assistants, and clinical support specialists with specialized credentials or licensure are the positions most likely to qualify under EB-2 or EB-3 pathways.
How do I start the Green Card application process at 42 North Dental Care, Pllc?
The process begins with your employer initiating PERM labor certification through DOL, which can take a year or more. Once certified, 42 North Dental Care files Form I-140 with USCIS on your behalf. You'll need to provide your dental credentials, license, and employment history at each stage. Consult an immigration attorney once you have a job offer.
How long does the Green Card process take when sponsored by 42 North Dental Care, Pllc?
Total timelines vary based on your visa category and country of birth. PERM labor certification alone typically takes 12 to 18 months, followed by I-140 adjudication by USCIS. If your priority date is current, adjustment of status or consular processing adds additional months. Applicants from high-demand countries may face longer backlogs in the EB-3 category.
How do I improve my chances of getting a Green Card job offer from 42 North Dental Care, Pllc?
Use Migrate Mate to identify 42 North Dental Care's active Green Card sponsorship roles and verify their filing history before applying. Tailor your application to highlight active dental licensure, relevant clinical specializations, and any experience in group dental practice settings. Addressing sponsorship directly and professionally in your cover letter signals you understand the employer's process.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at 42 North Dental Care, Pllc?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
