Job Roles at Arup
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Arup Green Card Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Understand the PERM labor certification process
Green Card sponsorship at Arup begins with PERM, where Arup must advertise your role and demonstrate no qualified U.S. worker is available. Understanding this process helps you set realistic expectations and prepare documentation that supports your employer's filing.
Raise Green Card early in the offer stage
In consulting and professional services firms like Arup, immigration sponsorship decisions are typically made during offer negotiations, not after onboarding. Ask directly whether the role is eligible for Green Card sponsorship before accepting an offer.
Align your credentials with Arup's project focus
Arup works across infrastructure, transport, buildings, and advisory services. Candidates whose credentials and project experience match these sectors are more likely to qualify for sponsored roles, particularly under EB-2 where advanced degrees and specialized expertise matter most.
Search for verified sponsoring employers before applying
Not all consulting firms sponsor at the same rate. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you focus your applications on companies like Arup with confirmed Green Card filing records.
Factor in priority date backlogs for your country
Even after Arup files your Green Card petition, wait times for a visa number vary significantly depending on your country of birth. Research the current priority date for your category and country before starting the process so you can plan accordingly.

Does Arup sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Arup sponsors Green Card visas for qualifying employees in the United States. The firm files petitions through the EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based preference categories, primarily for engineering, architecture, and technical consulting professionals. Sponsorship is typically initiated after a period of full-time employment and is handled through Arup's internal HR and legal teams.
Which roles and departments at Arup are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at Arup tends to be concentrated in technical and project-facing roles, including structural engineers, civil engineers, environmental consultants, and building services professionals. Roles requiring specialized degrees, professional licensure, or advanced technical expertise are the strongest candidates for EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship, as these align with the firm's core service areas.
How do I navigate the Green Card application process at Arup?
Arup typically handles the PERM labor certification filing through an immigration attorney engaged by the firm. As the employee, you'll need to provide documentation of your qualifications, work history, and credentials. Once PERM is approved, Arup files an I-140 immigrant petition on your behalf. The process requires close coordination with HR, so maintaining open communication throughout is important.
How long does the Green Card process take when sponsored by Arup?
The timeline varies considerably. The PERM labor certification stage alone can take several months, and the I-140 petition adds additional time. After approval, your wait for a visa number depends on your employment category and country of birth, with some applicants waiting years due to per-country backlogs. Consulting with Arup's immigration counsel early gives you the clearest picture of your individual timeline.
How do I find and apply for Green Card-sponsored jobs at Arup?
Start by identifying open roles at Arup that match your technical background in engineering, consulting, or a related field. Migrate Mate lists employers with verified Green Card sponsorship histories, so you can confirm Arup's track record and find current openings in one place. When applying, emphasize your specialized credentials and project experience, and be prepared to discuss immigration sponsorship directly during the offer stage.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Arup?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
