Target clinical roles with degree requirements
Aspen Dental's Green Card sponsorship concentrates on dentists, oral surgeons, and dental specialists where a specific professional degree is required. Roles without a mandatory degree requirement are less likely to qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship, so apply where your credentials directly match the posted license requirements.
Understand which EB category fits your background
Dentists with a DMD or DDS and U.S. licensure typically qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 depending on how the role is classified. EB-2 requires a position defined as requiring an advanced degree; EB-3 covers roles requiring a standard professional degree. USCIS and your employer's immigration attorney determine the correct classification during PERM preparation.
Prepare for the PERM labor certification process early
Most Green Card pathways at Aspen Dental begin with PERM, where DOL must certify no qualified U.S. workers are available for your role. Gather your credentials, license verification, and employment history before your employer initiates recruitment, since PERM documentation requirements are strict and delays reset the clock.
Confirm Aspen Dental's sponsorship policy during the offer stage
Sponsorship decisions at Aspen Dental are made at the practice or regional level, not uniformly across all locations. Ask the hiring manager directly during the offer conversation whether that specific practice has sponsored Green Cards before and whether the position is budgeted for the associated legal and filing costs.
Use Migrate Mate to verify Aspen Dental's filing history
Before accepting an offer, check Aspen Dental's actual Green Card filing activity by role and location. Migrate Mate surfaces DOL labor certification data by employer and occupation, so you can confirm whether your specific role and practice location has a real track record of sponsorship before you commit.
Align your salary expectations with prevailing wage requirements
PERM requires Aspen Dental to pay you the DOL prevailing wage for your occupation and location, not simply whatever you negotiated. Use the OFLC Wage Search to look up the prevailing wage for your job title and practice location before finalizing your offer, so compensation expectations are grounded in what PERM will require.
Aspen Dental Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Aspen Dental sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Aspen Dental sponsors Green Card visas, primarily for clinical roles such as dentists and dental specialists. Sponsorship is not guaranteed for every position or location, as decisions are made at the practice or regional level. Candidates in clinical roles with professional licensure are most likely to be considered for sponsorship.
Which roles at Aspen Dental are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at Aspen Dental is concentrated in clinical positions, particularly licensed dentists, oral surgeons, and dental specialists. These roles meet the DOL and USCIS educational and occupational requirements for EB-2 and EB-3 classification. Administrative and support roles are rarely sponsored because they typically don't satisfy the degree-requirement threshold that PERM and USCIS apply.
How does the Green Card application process work at Aspen Dental?
The process typically begins with PERM labor certification, where Aspen Dental conducts a DOL-supervised recruitment process to confirm no qualified U.S. workers are available for your role. Once PERM is certified, the company files an I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS on your behalf. You then wait for a visa number to become available before filing for adjustment of status or consular processing.
How long does it take to get a Green Card through Aspen Dental?
The timeline depends on your visa category and country of birth. PERM certification alone can take well over a year when DOL audits are involved. After an approved I-140, EB-2 and EB-3 wait times vary significantly by nationality due to per-country annual limits. Applicants born in high-demand countries should review the monthly USCIS Visa Bulletin to track their priority date.
How do I find open Green Card sponsorship jobs at Aspen Dental?
Migrate Mate lists Aspen Dental positions filtered by verified sponsorship history, so you can identify which roles and locations have an active track record of Green Card filing rather than relying on job postings that may not specify sponsorship. Targeting locations where Aspen Dental has previously filed PERM applications improves your chances of securing a sponsoring offer.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Aspen Dental?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
