Match your credentials to Bronson's pathway
Bronson Healthcare files under EB-2 and EB-3, so your degree and licensure determine which category applies. RNs and allied health professionals typically qualify under EB-3. If you hold an advanced clinical degree or a national interest waiver, EB-2 may apply. Confirm your classification before applying.
Request PERM sponsorship during offer negotiation
Green Card sponsorship must be negotiated before you sign your employment contract. Ask Bronson's HR team directly whether the role includes PERM labor certification. Clinical roles in shortage occupations are more likely to receive employer-initiated sponsorship than administrative or support positions.
Benchmark your wage against DOL prevailing rates
PERM requires Bronson to pay the DOL prevailing wage for your occupation and location. Use the OFLC Wage Search to find the prevailing wage for your role in the Kalamazoo or Battle Creek area before accepting an offer, so you can verify your salary meets the legal threshold.
Verify your occupation code supports sponsorship
PERM applications require a specific SOC occupation code. Check your role's O*NET profile to confirm the standard job duties match what Bronson would advertise. Mismatches between your actual duties and the PERM job description are a common reason DOL returns or audits applications.
Search verified Green Card employers on Migrate Mate
Before reaching out to Bronson recruiters, use Migrate Mate to review their Green Card filing history by role and department. This tells you which positions have historically received sponsorship so you can target your application to the teams most likely to support a PERM filing.
Plan for priority date backlogs before filing
EB-3 processing at USCIS can involve a priority date backlog depending on your country of birth. Workers born in India or China face longer waits than others. Confirm your country's current EB-3 cutoff date on the USCIS visa bulletin before accepting a role with a long-term sponsorship timeline.
Bronson Healthcare Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Bronson Healthcare sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Bronson Healthcare sponsors Green Card visas for eligible healthcare professionals. Sponsorship is most common for clinical roles including registered nurses, therapists, and specialist clinicians. Sponsorship is employer-initiated, so you'll need to confirm availability with Bronson's HR or recruiting team during the offer stage, as not every role qualifies.
Which roles at Bronson Healthcare are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Clinical and allied health roles carry the strongest sponsorship history at Bronson Healthcare. Registered nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and imaging specialists are among the positions most commonly associated with EB-2 or EB-3 filings. Administrative, operational, and non-clinical support roles are less frequently sponsored.
How do I find out if a specific Bronson Healthcare job includes Green Card sponsorship?
Job postings don't always disclose sponsorship eligibility upfront. Use Migrate Mate to search Bronson Healthcare's Green Card filing history by occupation before applying. During the interview process, ask the recruiter directly whether the position supports PERM labor certification and at what point in employment the filing typically begins.
How do I understand the timeline for a Green Card through Bronson Healthcare?
The process starts with PERM labor certification through DOL, which can take several months to complete. After approval, Bronson files an immigrant petition with USCIS. Depending on your EB category and country of birth, you may then face a priority date waiting period before you can apply for permanent residence. Total timelines vary widely.
What's the difference between EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship at Bronson Healthcare?
EB-3 is the more common pathway for healthcare workers at Bronson and covers professionals with a bachelor's degree or its equivalent, including most nursing and therapy roles. EB-2 applies to positions requiring an advanced degree or demonstrating exceptional ability. USCIS defines the eligibility criteria for each category, and Bronson's immigration counsel typically determines which applies.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Bronson Healthcare?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
