Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding ChristianaCare Green Card Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Match your credentials to PERM-eligible roles
ChristianaCare files most of its Green Cards through PERM labor certification, which requires your qualifications to precisely match the job requirements DOL advertises. Pull the O*NET occupation profile for your target role and verify your degree, licensure, and experience align before applying.
Distinguish your EB pathway before negotiating
Registered nurses and licensed therapists typically qualify under EB-3, while advanced practice clinicians or researchers with exceptional credentials may pursue EB-2 or EB-1. Knowing your category before your offer conversation lets you ask informed questions about which pathway ChristianaCare's immigration team intends to file.
Audit your prevailing wage before accepting an offer
PERM requires ChristianaCare to pay at or above the DOL prevailing wage for your role and location. Run your job title through the OFLC Wage Search before your offer stage so you can spot gaps between the posted salary and your required wage level early.
Target departments with recurring sponsorship history
ChristianaCare's filings cluster around direct patient care and specialized clinical roles rather than administrative functions. Prioritize applications in nursing, physical and occupational therapy, and medical imaging, where Green Card sponsorship is part of the established hiring pattern for internationally trained candidates.
Search verified Green Card employers on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter open roles at ChristianaCare by Green Card sponsorship history, so you're applying to positions where employer-sponsored permanent residency is already confirmed rather than negotiating it from scratch after an offer.
Get your foreign credential evaluation done early
USCIS requires a credential evaluation for degrees earned outside the U.S. as part of the Green Card petition. For healthcare roles at ChristianaCare, delays in obtaining a NACES-member evaluation or your state nursing board equivalency determination can stall the PERM filing by months.
ChristianaCare Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does ChristianaCare sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, ChristianaCare sponsors Green Cards for qualifying clinical and allied health positions. Sponsorship is most common in nursing, therapy, and specialized medical roles. The process typically runs through PERM labor certification followed by an EB-2 or EB-3 immigrant visa petition filed with USCIS. Sponsorship eligibility is determined during the hiring process, so raise it early in your conversations with recruiters.
Which roles at ChristianaCare are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at ChristianaCare is concentrated in direct patient care roles: registered nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and imaging specialists are the most common categories. Advanced practice providers and clinical specialists with hard-to-fill credentials also see sponsorship. Administrative, support, and entry-level non-clinical roles are unlikely to qualify.
How does the Green Card application process work at ChristianaCare?
ChristianaCare's immigration team typically initiates PERM labor certification with DOL after you've started employment on a work-authorized visa such as H-1B visa. Once PERM is certified, they file an I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS under EB-2 or EB-3. After approval and visa availability, you file for adjustment of status or consular processing to receive your Green Card.
How long does the Green Card process take at ChristianaCare?
The timeline depends on your nationality and the EB category. PERM certification alone can take six months to over a year. For EB-3 applicants from countries with long visa backlogs, total wait times from PERM filing to Green Card approval can stretch several years. EB-2 National Interest Waiver cases, where eligible, bypass PERM and can move faster.
How do I find open Green Card jobs at ChristianaCare?
Migrate Mate lists ChristianaCare roles filtered by verified Green Card sponsorship history, so you can identify positions where permanent residency support is already part of the offer rather than something to negotiate. Applying through channels where sponsorship is confirmed upfront saves time and avoids roles where immigration support is uncertain.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at ChristianaCare?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
