Target analyst and economist roles first
Cornerstone Research's core Green Card sponsorships concentrate in research, economics, and data analysis functions. Applying to roles that directly match your technical or academic background improves your chances of landing in a Green Card-eligible position.
Confirm sponsorship intent during the offer stage
Ask the hiring team directly whether the role includes Green Card sponsorship as part of long-term employment. In consulting and professional services, sponsorship decisions are often tied to headcount planning and role criticality, so clarify early.
Build your PERM case from day one
Green Card timelines at consulting firms typically begin with PERM labor certification. Start documenting your role's specialized duties and degree requirements from your first day so that the record supports a strong PERM application later.
Understand the employer-driven timeline
Cornerstone Research initiates and controls the Green Card process, including PERM filing and I-140 petition. Staying in close communication with HR and any assigned immigration counsel helps you track progress and respond quickly to any requests.
Use Migrate Mate to identify verified sponsoring roles
When searching for Green Card jobs at Cornerstone Research, Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, saving you from applying to roles with no actual sponsorship track record.
Align your credentials with specialty occupation standards
Green Card sponsorship in professional services requires demonstrating that your role qualifies as a specialty occupation. Highlight your degree field's direct relevance to your job duties in applications and interviews to strengthen the eventual immigration filing.
Cornerstone Research Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Cornerstone Research sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Cornerstone Research sponsors Green Card visas for qualifying employees. The firm has a consistent history of supporting permanent residence filings for professionals in economics, research, and data analysis. Sponsorship is typically offered after an employee has demonstrated strong performance and the role meets specialty occupation requirements.
Which roles and departments at Cornerstone Research typically receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at Cornerstone Research is most common in research and economics-focused roles, including analysts, consultants, and quantitative specialists. Positions requiring advanced degrees in economics, statistics, finance, or related fields tend to be the strongest candidates for sponsorship, given the firm's consulting and litigation support work.
How do I navigate the Green Card application process at Cornerstone Research?
The process typically starts with PERM labor certification, which Cornerstone Research files through the Department of Labor. Once certified, the firm files an I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS. Your HR team and immigration counsel manage the filings, but staying engaged and responsive throughout ensures the process moves without unnecessary delays.
How long does the Green Card process take at Cornerstone Research?
Timeline depends heavily on your country of birth and the visa category used. PERM certification alone can take well over a year, and if your priority date is backlogged, the wait for an immigrant visa number can extend significantly longer. Starting early and maintaining H-1B visa status through the process is strongly advisable.
How do I find open Green Card jobs at Cornerstone Research?
Search Cornerstone Research's careers page directly, and cross-reference with Migrate Mate, which tracks verified Green Card sponsors and lets you filter roles by actual sponsorship history. Focus on research, economics, and analytical positions, and look for language in job descriptions indicating degree requirements in a specific field, which signals Green Card eligibility.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Cornerstone Research?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
