Target roles in operations and supply chain
Dealer Tire's distribution and wholesale business depends on logistics, supply chain, and operations expertise. Green Card sponsorship at Dealer Tire is most commonly attached to professional roles in these core functions, so prioritize applications there.
Understand the EB-2 and EB-3 distinction
Dealer Tire sponsors through both EB-2 and EB-3 categories. EB-2 typically requires advanced degrees or exceptional ability, while EB-3 covers a broader range of professional roles. Knowing which category your role falls under helps you set accurate timeline expectations.
Raise Green Card sponsorship early in the process
At a distribution-focused company like Dealer Tire, hiring managers may not volunteer sponsorship details upfront. Asking directly during the offer stage, rather than after accepting, gives you a clearer picture of whether sponsorship is on the table for your specific role.
Demonstrate long-term value in your application
Green Card sponsorship is a significant employer investment. Candidates who position themselves as long-term contributors to Dealer Tire's distribution network, not just short-term hires, are more likely to receive sponsorship consideration during the hiring process.
Use verified sponsorship data when job searching
Not every Dealer Tire role comes with Green Card sponsorship. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you focus your search on positions where Green Card support is a genuine possibility.
Prepare for the PERM labor certification process
Most employer-sponsored Green Cards begin with PERM, a Department of Labor process where Dealer Tire must document that no qualified U.S. workers are available for the role. Understanding this step helps you support your employer through documentation requests and recruitment records.
Dealer Tire Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Dealer Tire sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Dealer Tire sponsors Green Card visas through the EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based categories. Sponsorship is selective and tied to specific professional roles, particularly within the company's distribution and wholesale operations. Not every open position includes Green Card sponsorship, so confirming with the hiring team during the offer process is important.
Which roles at Dealer Tire are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at Dealer Tire is most commonly associated with professional and technical roles in operations, supply chain, logistics, and related functions that support its distribution and wholesale business. Corporate and specialized roles requiring advanced degrees tend to qualify for EB-2, while a broader range of professional positions may be eligible under EB-3.
How do I navigate the Green Card application process at Dealer Tire?
The process typically begins with PERM labor certification, where Dealer Tire documents efforts to recruit U.S. workers before sponsoring a foreign national. Once PERM is approved, the company files an immigrant visa petition on your behalf. The full process involves coordination between you, your employer, and an immigration attorney, and Dealer Tire generally manages this through its HR and legal teams.
How long does Green Card sponsorship take at Dealer Tire?
Timeline depends heavily on your visa category and country of birth. The PERM and petition stages alone can take a year or more. For applicants from countries with high demand, such as India or China, additional wait times in the priority date queue can extend the total timeline significantly. Starting the conversation with your employer early is strongly recommended.
How do I find Green Card jobs at Dealer Tire?
Searching directly on Dealer Tire's careers page is a starting point, but job listings rarely specify Green Card sponsorship availability. Migrate Mate is built specifically for this, it tracks verified employer sponsorship history so you can identify Dealer Tire roles where Green Card support has historically been offered, saving you time during your job search.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Dealer Tire?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
