Align your credentials to EB pathway requirements
FujiFilm's Green Card filings split across EB-2 and EB-3 depending on role seniority and degree requirements. Engineers and scientists with a master's degree or a bachelor's plus five years of progressive experience typically qualify for EB-2, while technician and distribution roles often route through EB-3.
Document your specialty occupation before applying
PERM requires FujiFilm's HR team to define the minimum job requirements before advertising the role. If your current job title at FujiFilm is broader than your actual duties, ask your manager to align your job description to the specific technical functions you perform before the PERM process starts.
Target distribution and imaging technology teams
FujiFilm's U.S. Green Card filings cluster in technical and supply chain functions tied to its distribution and healthcare imaging divisions. Roles in quality assurance, medical device support, and warehouse systems integration are among the categories where the company has established sponsorship precedent.
Verify your prevailing wage tier early
PERM locks in a prevailing wage level that your offered salary must meet or exceed. Use the OFLC Wage Search to check wage levels for your SOC code and location before negotiating your offer. A salary below the Level II threshold for your role can stall or invalidate the PERM filing entirely.
Use Migrate Mate to confirm FujiFilm's filing history
Before investing time in FujiFilm's interview process, verify their sponsorship track record by role type and location. Migrate Mate surfaces DOL Labor Condition Application data by employer, so you can confirm which job categories FujiFilm has filed for and structure your application accordingly.
Negotiate Green Card inclusion before accepting an offer
FujiFilm's HR and legal teams handle Green Card approvals on a role-by-role basis, not as a blanket policy. Raise sponsorship eligibility during the offer stage, not after you've started. Confirm whether the specific role and business unit have sponsored Green Cards for comparable positions before signing.
FujiFilm Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does FujiFilm sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, FujiFilm sponsors Green Card visas for qualifying employees in the United States. Sponsorship is tied to specific roles and business units rather than applied company-wide. Technical, scientific, and distribution-related positions in FujiFilm's U.S. operations have the strongest track record for Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 and EB-3 pathways.
Which roles at FujiFilm are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
FujiFilm's Green Card sponsorship is concentrated in technical and specialized roles across its imaging, healthcare, and distribution divisions. Engineers, quality assurance specialists, medical device support professionals, and supply chain analysts are among the positions where sponsorship has precedent. Corporate and administrative roles are less commonly sponsored but not categorically excluded.
How do I start the Green Card process at FujiFilm?
The process begins with your employer initiating PERM labor certification through DOL, which requires advertising the role and demonstrating no qualified U.S. workers are available. FujiFilm's immigration team or outside counsel then files Form I-140 with USCIS. Your involvement at the PERM stage is mostly documentation: employment verification, degree transcripts, and wage confirmation.
How long does the Green Card process take at FujiFilm?
Timeline depends on your country of birth and the EB category your role qualifies for. PERM alone takes several months under DOL's current processing load. EB-2 and EB-3 priority dates for applicants born in India or China can extend the total wait by years due to per-country visa backlogs tracked in the USCIS Visa Bulletin.
How do I find FujiFilm Green Card jobs on Migrate Mate?
Migrate Mate indexes employer sponsorship data from DOL LCA filings, so you can filter specifically for FujiFilm roles with Green Card sponsorship history. Search by company name and visa type to see which job categories FujiFilm has filed for, then apply directly to open positions that match your background in imaging, healthcare technology, or distribution operations.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at FujiFilm?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
