Target technical roles with licensing requirements
Haley & Aldrich's Green Card filings cluster around roles requiring professional engineering licensure or specialized geotechnical credentials. Positions tied to P.E. or PG requirements signal stronger sponsorship intent because replacing that expertise is harder, making employer investment in permanent status more justifiable.
Understand which EB pathway fits your background
EB-2 requires an advanced degree or exceptional ability; EB-3 covers professionals with a bachelor's degree. At a consulting firm like Haley & Aldrich, most staff-level engineers qualify for EB-3, while senior technical leads with graduate degrees may pursue EB-2, sometimes with a National Interest Waiver.
Prepare for PERM labor certification early
PERM requires DOL to certify no qualified U.S. workers are available for your role. Haley & Aldrich's HR team initiates this process, but you should document your credentials, publications, and project experience in advance so the employer-defined job description accurately reflects your specialized qualifications.
Benchmark your salary against OFLC Wage Search data
PERM requires your offered wage to meet or exceed the prevailing wage for your occupation and location. Pull your SOC code from O*NET, then verify the applicable wage level using OFLC Wage Search before your offer letter is finalized to avoid amendments that delay the filing timeline.
Use Migrate Mate to identify Haley & Aldrich's sponsorship history
Search Haley & Aldrich on Migrate Mate to review its verified Green Card and work visa filing history by role and location. That data tells you which practice areas and office locations have historically supported sponsorship, so you can prioritize applications to teams with a track record.
Negotiate sponsorship terms before signing your offer
Confirm whether Haley & Aldrich will cover PERM attorney fees and filing costs before you accept an offer. Consulting firms vary on cost-sharing arrangements, and some impose repayment clauses if you leave within a defined period after Green Card approval. Get these terms in writing.
Haley & Aldrich Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Haley & Aldrich sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Haley & Aldrich sponsors Green Card visas for qualifying employees. Sponsorship is typically initiated for technical professionals in engineering, environmental science, and consulting roles after a period of employment. The firm uses the PERM labor certification process through DOL, followed by an immigrant visa petition filed with USCIS.
Which roles at Haley & Aldrich typically receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at Haley & Aldrich tends to concentrate in technical disciplines including geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, and infrastructure advisory roles. Positions requiring specialized credentials, professional licensure, or graduate-level expertise are most commonly sponsored, as the firm's business depends on retaining hard-to-replace technical talent over the long term.
How do I start the Green Card process at Haley & Aldrich?
The process begins when Haley & Aldrich's HR or immigration team initiates a PERM labor certification with DOL on your behalf. You'll need to provide documentation of your credentials, work history, and qualifications. Once PERM is certified, the firm files an I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS. Your role is to respond promptly to document requests and keep your credentials current throughout.
How long does the Green Card process take at Haley & Aldrich?
Timeline depends on your visa category and country of birth. EB-2 and EB-3 filings for most nationalities move faster, while applicants from India or China face priority date backlogs that can extend the process by years. PERM certification alone typically takes six to twelve months, and USCIS adjudication adds additional time after that.
How do I find open Green Card jobs at Haley & Aldrich?
Use Migrate Mate to search Haley & Aldrich's verified sponsorship history and browse open roles filtered by Green Card sponsorship activity. Targeting practice areas and office locations where the firm has a documented filing history gives you a stronger starting point than applying broadly across all open positions.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Haley & Aldrich?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
