ABOUT INTRALOX
Intralox, L.L.C., a division of Laitram, L.L.C., is a global leader in conveyance solutions that improve lives and optimize businesses worldwide. Our global workforce of over 3,000 employees across 20+ countries are reliable problem solvers who design and deliver solutions that have driven customer growth for more than 50 years. We are deeply committed to innovation, integrity, and continuous improvement — and we are now scaling the next frontier of that innovation: an enterprise-grade data and AI platform built on Palantir Foundry and AIP.
WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS
Our Digital Technologies (DT) department is building a core Palantir practice at Intralox. We are turning decades of operational data into decision-ready pipelines, Ontology-backed applications, and AIP-powered workflows that create measurable value for our business and our customers. We are looking for experienced Palantir Foundry Engineers to join this team and accelerate that work from day one. We are looking for builders who have already shipped real solutions in Foundry and AIP, plus thrive on turning business problems into modern and highly operational software delivering value.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Palantir Foundry & AIP Engineers at Intralox work across the full solution stack. Depending on your strengths, you will take the lead on one or more of the following areas:
Data Engineering & Integration
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines in Palantir Pipeline Builder and Code Repositories (Python/PySpark/SQL)
- Onboard new data sources from enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, Machine Controllers) through Palantir Data Connection
- Establish and enforce data quality standards, monitoring, and lineage visibility across the platform
Ontology & Application Building
- Develop and extend the Intralox Ontology in Ontology Manager — defining object types, links, and action types that reflect our business model
- Build tailored Workshop or Web applications for operators and business users across manufacturing, commercial, and service functions
- Implement business logic through Palantir Functions and connect it cleanly to the Ontology
- Collaborate with Palantir developers and internal stakeholders to architect reusable, scalable use cases
AI & Analytics
- Integrate AI models and AIP Logic into operational workflows to enable AI-assisted decision-making
- Build analysis workflows in Code Workbook or Code Workspaces for data science and predictive modeling use cases
- Support analysts in building repeatable dashboards and reports in Contour and Quiver
Delivery & Collaboration
- Partner with business stakeholders, like various engineering and business roles, plus people managers to scope and prioritize use cases
- Contribute to platform governance standards alongside the DT core team
- Mentor and guide team members who are developing their Palantir skills
- Participate in a globally distributed team
WHAT YOU BRING
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, or Engineering — or equivalent professional experience
- At least 2 years building in Palantir Foundry (pipelines, Ontologies, or apps), not just using dashboards
- Proficiency in at least two of the following: Pipeline Builder, Code Repositories (Python/Spark), Workshop, Ontology Manager, AIP Logic, or Slate
- Production-grade coding ability in Python; working knowledge of TypeScript
- Familiarity with engineering best practices: Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and logging
- Track record of delivering complete Palantir use cases, from data onboarding through to the end-user application
- Experience owning data pipelines post-deployment — monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving them in production
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable working independently in a globally distributed, asynchronous team
- Professional proficiency in English
Preferred
- Experience with Palantir AIP, including model integration, AIP Logic, and AI-assisted workflow design
- Background or domain knowledge in manufacturing, industrial operations, supply chain, or logistics
- Proficiency with Code Workbook or Code Workspaces for Python- or R-based data science and ML workflows
- Experience acting in multiple Palantir roles within a single engagement (e.g., data engineer + app builder)
- Familiarity with platform administration, security markings, or data governance tooling in Foundry
- Prior experience scaling a Palantir practice within an enterprise organization

Target engineering and technical roles first
Intralox's Green Card sponsorships cluster around engineering disciplines tied to its manufacturing and product development operations. Roles in mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering are where sponsorship support is most consistently extended.
Start your H-1B relationship early
Most Intralox Green Card cases begin after a period on H-1B visa or another nonimmigrant visa. Building a strong internal track record before initiating the Green Card process significantly improves your case and employer buy-in.
Understand the PERM labor certification step
Intralox follows the standard EB-2 or EB-3 pathway, which starts with PERM. That means a supervised employer recruitment process before filing. Knowing how PERM works helps you set realistic expectations and avoid surprises during the process.
Use Migrate Mate to find verified open roles
Not every Intralox posting will lead to Green Card sponsorship. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors with real sponsorship history, so you can prioritize applications to roles where Intralox has actively supported permanent residency cases.
Ask about sponsorship policy during interviews
Intralox operates in manufacturing, where headcount planning is tied to production cycles. Raising Green Card sponsorship directly during interviews signals long-term intent and helps you assess whether the specific team has budget and history to support permanent residency.
Align your credentials with Intralox's specialty occupation standards
Green Card petitions under EB-2 or EB-3 require clear documentation that the role requires your specific degree and expertise. For Intralox roles, that typically means a technical degree directly relevant to the engineering or manufacturing function you'd be filling.
Intralox Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Intralox sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Intralox sponsors Green Card visas for eligible employees. The company has an established history of supporting permanent residency through the EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based categories, primarily for engineering and technical roles within its manufacturing operations. Sponsorship is generally offered to employees who have demonstrated value in a role requiring specialized skills.
Which roles and departments at Intralox are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at Intralox is most common in engineering and technical functions, including mechanical engineering, product development, and manufacturing systems roles. Operations and supply chain positions with specialized skill requirements may also qualify. Sales and general business roles are less frequently sponsored for permanent residency, though it is not unheard of for senior technical contributors.
What does the Green Card application process look like at Intralox?
Intralox typically follows the standard EB-2 or EB-3 pathway. The employer initiates PERM labor certification with the Department of Labor, which involves a supervised recruitment process to confirm no qualified U.S. workers are available. Once PERM is certified, Intralox files an I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS. You then apply for adjustment of status or consular processing depending on your current visa situation.
How long does the Green Card process take when sponsored by Intralox?
The timeline varies based on your country of birth and the visa category Intralox files under. PERM labor certification alone can take several months. After an approved I-140, wait times range from months to many years depending on your priority date and per-country demand. Indian and Chinese nationals face significantly longer waits than nationals of most other countries due to visa backlog queues.
How do I improve my chances of getting Green Card sponsorship at Intralox?
Start by joining Intralox on a nonimmigrant work visa and establishing a strong performance record before raising the Green Card conversation. Ensure your role clearly requires a specialized degree and document your contributions in technical terms that align with EB-2 or EB-3 standards. Migrate Mate can help you identify which Intralox postings have a verified sponsorship history so your application targets the right opportunities from the start.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Intralox?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
